Triacetin TPA

Can't find much info on this, just that it's an additive. Anyone here use it or know what it brings into the juice?

Looks like it's a flavor carrier, like PG but not as water soluble.

i believe its used in concentrated flavoring to give a buttery, custard type of note..

its what replaces diacetyl. if im not mistaken

As wingsfan said, it's a carrier. People who have allergies or other health issues with PG can use it instead.
