OMG! I'm wishing I hadn't of pulled the trigger on this now. Instead of looking forward to getting it, I'm kinda dreading it.
My first one came 6 weeks ago and my second one came 5 weeks ago and they both are doing fine. I am sure glad I got them. That makes 13 DNA200 mods I own right now.

Just got this beauty. :) If anyone spot a silicon case please share a link.
I bought a number of them for my Reuleaux mods and the best ones are the ones that Wismec sells. And they fit the Triade very well. The air vents cutouts are all wrong, but that isn't a big deal. The only place I know that sells the Wismec silicon sleeves is eciggity. If anybody finds them somewhere else, please let me know.

Just an FYI:

I contacted Lost Vape via the link posted above. I contacted them in regards to the battery door for the triade. My door is starting to show signs of wear and I wanted to buy an extra one. My original message:

Hello!

I am contacting you guys in regards to my Triade DNA 200. I'm not looking for a repair. I'm just looking for a replacement battery door. My current one is very worn (compared to the rest of the mod). The finish on the door seems to be weaker than the finish on the body.

I'm not looking for a free replacement (as it is wearing due to use, not malfunction). I'm willing to pay but am unable to find any vendor that sells the door. Will you folks be offering the door for sale? Or, will you be distributing the door to vendors?

Thanks for your time!

This was their response:

Hi ****,

I'm sorry but we do not offer replacement stickers or doors. Thank you, Chad

This is quite unfortunate....I hope they eventually offer just the door for sale. It seems to show signs of wear a lot quicker than the body of the mod. Plus, I'm really digging the black door.

I've got a problem with my Triade ever since I got it a few weeks ago.

The first couple of draws are fine, on a cool tank but after a few draws...
In Power Mode, the wattage keeps jumping and dropping as I vape. I can see the number (reflection in the mirror) just fluctuating up and down so the vape is very cool am not getting a consistent amt of vapor.
When in Temp Priority mode (set from eScribe) the temp fluctuates. And I can see the wattage drop as low as 11W, and even down to single digits.
This doesn't happen on my Therion and that mod gives me consistent temp with the power ramping up and just fluctuating slightly around the wattage I'd set. Did I set the Triade up wrong in eScribe?

I'm switching the same tank, an Avocado 24, running dual parallel 26ga SS316L at 0.12Ohms,between the 2 mods to test. As far as I can tell in eScribe, the settings on the profiles are the same on both mods.

Got both mods at the same time with 5 new VTC5s that have been married to their respective mods since day 1.

Can someone advise me? Did I miss something I eScribe? Batts can't be faulty otherwise I'd get a batt alert, right?

Makes perfect sense to me. Since the DNA75 used a beta tested updated SS support firmware while our DNA200 didn't. Although they released the same thing for the DNA200 around the 8th of this month. It is called:

SetupES250_2016-08-08(1.2 SP3).exe

I was searching for new firmware updates and didn't fine any. Thought this was just new version of eScribe. Will go try this out later. Thanks.

Yes it can be confusing. I never seen the firmware collection released separately from EScribe. Although not all versions of EScribe also contains firmware.

What's supposed to happen is when a firmware is recommended, it's automatically downloaded to Escribe.

When you want to be an early adopter, you need to download the Escribe that has it.

I always switch to the new firmware as soon as it comes out so I just download and install the new Escribe that contains it.

Escribe is the program on your PC that allows you to interact with your mod through your PC.. Firmware is the operating system on your mod.

Hope that makes sense.

Cheers,
Steve

Are there any serious pitfalls to running early adopter versions of ES? Will it brick your mod?

There was one beta [SetupES_2016-05-02_DNA75(1.0.51Beta).exe] that leaked out. I guess it worked ok with DNA75, but bricked some DNA200 mods. Customers were never suppose to use that one anyway.

Good to know. I'll try this method out on the weekend. Hope it gets my Triade up to speed. Loving the Therion but kinda disappointed with the Triade at the moment.

I'm using the Escribe and Firmware that came out on 8-8 (V 1.2 SP3) on my DNA200 mods. It's really smoothed out TC for SS316. I really like it.
