I started with Tribeca 18MG for about a week and then it turned to YUK! At the time I was vaping with a triton tank and standard bats. I forgot about it for a few weeks and then decided to try it again only this time I spiked it with a very strong Carmel Candy. Just a few drops in the tank, swirl, pray, and let the love juice blend. Not bad/and better at this point but hardly a mix I could vape for extended periods of time. A few weeks later I got my twist and dialed it down to 3.3 with my triton tank. Filled the tank with Tribeca and no spike. WOW! Love it first thing in the morning. It's just exactly what the Dr. ordered with my coffee. Powerful woodsy earthy tobacco with a strong hit. Exactly what I need to get going after I get up in the am. It is my go to vape every AM. Around 11 or so I no longer crave it and switch to my day vapes love juices. LOL For me then the moral of the story is the evolution of my taste buds plus a dash of acquired taste plus the twist dial down to 3.3 and also it is NOT as enjoyable in a regular bat.. Just put it aside and try it later.

HTH :)

A good friend of mine is trying to quit smoking, and bought a Triton. Freedom Juice, Longhorn, Turkish Tobacco, and Tribeca simply were not enough "tobacco-like" for him, as he is just looking for a cigarette-flavor (not untypical for first-time vapers). Finally, he has found Prime 15 to be more to his liking.

When I began vaping, Tribeca would not have worked for me at all. I think that for many of us, our perception of taste really changes as we become vapers rather than smokers. Since I used to smoke cigars and pipes as well as cigarettes, I think that I was a bit more open to flavor variations so the transition was easier. My friend still wants something that tastes "just like" a cigarette.

Really? Freedom Juice is an excellent Turkish style tobacco with that spicy note to it, and Turkish does come off a little perfumey at first, but fits in a different Turkish category. I'm surprised he didn't try Torque 56. That's the best analog type that Halo has... it's cowboy type, if you will.

At least he found something to satisfy him, although Prime15 and I do not agree :)

I have to agree with you on Torque 56, jefsview. It reminds me a lot of a "red" cigarette while Prime 15 reminds me of a "light" cigarette. I find Prime 15 to be really smooth while Torque is a lot harsher.

I got Torque loaded up in a cartomizer at 18mg for when I'm wanting an analogue. My "sweet spot" is 12mg for all other flavours, though.

Tribeca is a great flavour to have people try first. Everyone I've had try it has always gotten that wide-eyed look of tasting something good for the first time. lol After that though, they usually want something a bit more tabacco tasting.

I am a confirmed NETizen (naturally-extracted tobacco fan). I finally caved in and ordered a bottle of Tribeca, just because I've been reading about it for over 2.5 years now, and the curiosity was killing me.

WOWZA!! I don't believe this 30ml bottle is going to last me a week! 8-o

I am OFFICIALLY on the Tribecca Train!! :):):)

I got my sampler pack the other day, wanted to try the Torque56 after all the hype I read. I wasn't all that impressed. Midnight Apple is pretty good but I couldn't vape it all day. Tried out the Tribeca and I can't put it down! I nearly killed the 7ml bottle in a few hours. I'll be ordering more soon, though I will agree the 19.99 price point is pretty steep for 30ml.

i bought some Tribeca in a vape shop today. Why?

well, i like to support local shops who don't blatantly rip off n00bs, and the price was more than reasonable. And...

when i got my original sampler, i was flipping back and forth between Protanks and Vivi Novas. I was more used to refilling the Protank, so when the Vivi needed a refill, I ended up dumping it all in my lap.

Did that 3 f'in times!

Now, I'm into bottom-feeders, so at least that will never happen again! (i hope)

sheesh...

If you find Tribeca very sweet, and you aren't tasting a very rich tobacco flavor, then that simply means it has not steeped yet.

I've read a few times on the forum that Halo pre-steeps their juice. I've vaped several bottles of it now over the last 7 weeks (purchased either from Halo directly or at the local shops) and without a shadow of a doubt, sometimes I will get it steeped, and at other times, it isn't. Some bottles I got took a full 2 weeks to steep. I aired-out and shook the bottle every few days, ocassionally taking a ml or two to vape. Right at about 2 weeks time, voila... heaven, but the steeping time sucks lol

Yea I have to say Tribeca mellowed out a bit over time for me. I left it in the tank for a week and went back to it. I'm still not blown away but it's not unvapeable. I brought over like 3 batteries and had a bunch of friends try out different tanks last night it was an interesting little experiment. The smokers enjoyed Tribeca and it's cousin HX3 it seemed. Which surprised me because I would think it's missing the key qualities that I used to look for in a cigarette back when I smoked.

But anyway the Tribeca was a hit. I let them vape away at it lol because I'm not the foremost fan. It tastes ok I'm not going to be giving it away. It's got a place in my rotation for when I want a break from the sweeter stuff which is what I tend to gravitate towards. I definitely think it's improved with a bit more time in the cabinet.

I love Tribeca in cartos but don't like it at all in mini-tanks/clearomizers except as an additive to other flavors. Weird, huh?

I use both LR carts and the mini-tanks. I like Prime 15 better in a cart than in a mini-tank. So I totally get what you're saying.

I'm glad it's not just me. It seems the general consensus is that tanks beat cartos and everyone raves about Tribeca, so I was wondering if there was something wrong with my tastebuds. It's like there's this one unpleasant flavor note in Tribeca that comes across loud and clear to me in a tank but is effectively filtered out in a carto. To me, it tastes like delicious graham crackers in a carto but in a tank, it's kind of... well, chemical-y. On the other hand, all my other juices taste at least a little better in the mini-tanks.

I'm a big fan of the LR cartos, too. Vapor production is great and I find them a little more convenient for using on-the-go.

Please trust me :) Their is nothing wrong with your taste buds with respect to any juice on planet Earth or Planet Halo :)

Ever wonder why we have a "rotation" ? Your taste buds change during the day so you crave a different juice. What did you eat? What did you drink? Are you burning lactic acid via a hard swim workout. All contributing factors to how a given juice taste. I'm not a doc but the other factor is are buds are wacked from years of smoking. They are evolving and changing. We can talk about dual coil tanks, steeping, VV and VW and a zillon different delivery devices but the often overlooked variable in this mystery is our respective taste buds. If anyone doesn't like Tribeca in a tank I understand, just send me all your 30 ML bottles or put it aside and try it later. LOL

For example, when I get up in the early AM I crave two things: Coffee and Tribeca straight no cut at 18MG. I have an empty stomach and have not eaten. I have a Triton tank loaded and another dual coil delivery device/tank loaded with Tribeca. I vape like crazy for an hour or two. Then I have breakfast which for me is Yogurt and fruit. I'm also hydrating my body. After breakfast I no longer crave Tribeca. Matter of fact it taste yuky so I switch to my rotation of other juices. This is just me but hopefully it illustrates the points I'm trying to make.

I'm pretty new at this but I've already stumbled onto the concept of rotating flavors. First thing in the morning, I vape a pretty hard-hitting mixture of Torque and Tribeca with a couple of drops of Belgian Cocoa. Then it's a 2:1 blend of Tribeca and Torque for most of the day with an occasional "palate-cleansing" break with Kringle. In the evening, I go for lighter-tasting juices, currently Kringle with a few drops of Belgian or the sample of Voodoo I received the other day. I wanna try more flavors when I have the bread, but these are working well for me now.

Just read every post and I'm excited . Im a relative newbie and have made it my mission to only vape the best of the best.

I remember reading similar expressions of joy in the nicoticket reviews and I knew that their eliquids would be awesome and they were.

I'm getting that same tingly spider sense now.

Hurry up postman I need my Tribeca now.
