Trick for refilling using a "condom" and syringe (syringe can also store until next refill)

I wanted to come up with a method to refill easier. I liked the condom method, but never did want to waste the leftover stuff that was left in the condom. I also had issues with the suction.

So basically:
I made a hole in the condom on one end, slipped it over a 3ml syringe (the most common size, with no needle). This leaves half of the condom to fit over the mouthpiece. I filled the syringe to about 2ml. I then pushed the liquid into the cartomizer using the syringe in the same manner as the condom method. I withdrew the extra liquid (i repeated several times using the room created in the syringe). You can then disconnect, wipe, blow, and save the excess for another fill. You do not risk contaminating your main supply, but can still use the spare left in the syringe.

Just an Idea for convenience.

warm regards
Ray

Ray I love it when people come up with great ideas. I just pour the extra back into my bottle of juice! I don't sweat the contamination as P.G. is a germ killer (not a great one..but I figure it does ok). Add to the fact that I am a klutz and don't fancy vaping my blood! LOL

I hear ya, this is not for everyone, I am sure. I do not use a needle....I simply am using the syringe to push the liquid into the cart, and suck back the excess. the condom links them. I am a nurse (for the record so is my wife to ward off any stereotypes, lol) and have easy access to syringes, etc. The thing I like about this is I cap the syringe and it is ready for next time. I refrigerate my main supply, but leave this out handy for when I need it. I am finding that I have less to blow out doing it this way. I am sure there are issues, but I like it. I am just one of those people who are always trying to find a better way, and tinkering with things....even if they don't work in the end. It is fun for me.

just like the condom method, you keep an eye on it, when you see it, stop, draw back on the syringe. The also requires a couple of blows from the battery end to eliminate extra fluid, just like condom method. I believe leaford has some videos on this.

I also have a tapered end i made for my syringe, even cleaner, no need to wipe, it fits in the rubber ends of cartomizer and seals. I had to custom make this though.

I applaud ingenuity and if it works for you that's great more power to you.

Tip: To clean your batteries, soak a toothpick in vodka or iso alcohol and work it around the inner post ring on your battery. After a pass or two wipe off the toothpick tip, don't be shocked if you remove a good amount of green gunk. Take a small sewing needle and in a circular motion clean out the edges of the airholes , then run the needle point in between the battery threads.

A debate on ECF is if putting the liquid in the fridge is a good idea. I know it's second nature to the medical proff. but in this case..maybe not. A couple of old timers on ECF lost thier whole stash by keeping it too cold.
I think a lock box keep in the dark will do fine. I use a cardboard suitcase (it's for looks not travel) and keep it in my bookcase behind the desk, it's facing away from the light. But then I don't have young kids around and the dog is not at all interested or tall enough to reach it.
