Open the hood of your car, have someone start it and rev it and press the atty against the belt. Odds are the top will come off and you will learn a valuable lesson: Never pay attention to my advice.
I noticed no one mentioned a key point. You're tightening your tanks too tight! It'll be easier to open the next time if you don't overtighten. OK, I'll stop now. Y'all can carry on telling OP how to take apart his stuck tank.
true story lmfao my atty got stuck to my mod...the top of the aegis legend is a bit rubbery and so it like formed a seal...about never got it off, scratched up the bottom of my atty because i had to use pliers to get a good grip on it
I have 2 of these and they are horrible. First the grip is made to fit 22mm. Anything else is going to be a problem. I used these on a 24mm and that pin that aligns the 2 legs are no longer in the hole. So you have to align yourself manually (not easy). And you can't use the end for leverage, since the tweezers end will dig into your hand when you squeeze. Cheap? Yes! Useful! Very questionable.
Rubber gloves have always solved any issues where I can't get a tank apart or get a tank off a mod. Don't even need to put them on - just holding them in my hands always seems to do the trick!
