rebuilt using .5 ribbon....3wraps per coil...two coils sharing 1 strand of 3mm threaded eko....
Trident rba.....0.3ohm...
anyone have recommendations for batteries that have a 20amp rating?
this is hitting 14 amps @ 4.2 volts, under load, not sure....I know the AW is good up to 10....Will a better battery make a difference???
Seems like the voltage drops really quickly, using an AW 18650 currently

AW 1600 mah will exceed 20 amps. That setup you have now is quite dangerous. Please don't exceed the amp limit.

SPecs on the aw 1600....seems like 15amps to me?
Specifications:
Nominal Voltage : 3.7V
Capacity : 1600mAH
Lowest Discharge Voltage : 2.50V
Standard Charge : CC/CV ( max. charging rate 4.5A )

C rating- This is the maximum sustained (not burst) output of a battery. It requires only knowing the mah rating of the battery and it's value to calculate. Will give you an example using a few different batteries-

Batt A- 1600mah, 15C= 24 amps
Batt B- 2800mah, 2C= 5.6 amps
Batt C- 3100mah, 2C= 6.2 amps

What is C in relation to batteries?

C ratings are simply a way of talking about charge and discharge rates for
batteries.

1C, = 1 time the rated mah capacity of the battery. So if you charge your
650 mah pack at 1C, you charge it a 650 miliamps, or .650 amps.

1C on a 1100 pack would be 1.1 amps.

2 C on your 1100 pack would be 2.2 amps

Motor batteries are often rated in Discharge C and charge C.

So a 1100 mah pack (1.1 amp hour) might be rated for 10C discharge, so you
can pull 11 amps ( flow ) without damaging the battery.

Then it might be rated at 2C charge rate (flow), so you charge it at 2.2
amps (2200 mah)

How did I do? Things clearing up?

If you have a 500 mah pack - any kind - and it is rated at 16C that means it
can deliver 8 amps.

If you have a 1000 mah pack - any kind - and it is rated at 8C that means it
can deliver 8 amps.

If you have a 1000 mah pack - any kind - and it is rated at 12C that means
it can deliver 12 amps

If you have a 1500 mah pack - any kind - and it is rate at 8C that means it
can deliver 12 amps

just got my first high amp batteries...
MNKE 18650 and AW 18650 1600 mah....
i have been using the standard AW 18650 (10amp)....
throwing in the MNKE is ENLIGHTENING!!!!
lol....

it hits a lot harder...smoother....the MNKE seems to hit harder than the AW 1600....both were freshly charged and tested under same load....better late than never....lol....really enjoying P.O.E.T electronic nectar.....fancy a** liquid from Vaperev..

I find it's down to the juice to take to sub-ohm'ing well...do you find the flavor is scorched? Or too hot?

Enjoy it man ! I'm vaping my Inawera Tuscan Garden mixed with DNB dirty drops. It's like Paul Bunyan giving me a shotgun with a hand rolled cig Using my Cronus/Helios setup.

I use .8 ribbon k dual coils - 0.3ohm folded 2mm eko
or .5 ribbon k quad coils like in the pic at the beginning of the thread...
flavor is amazing when there is a fresh drip. the only times it tastes kinda scorched or too hot is if im chain vaping or the wick is drying out, or just needs a cleaning....
otherwise- i seem to have found my favorite drip mode.....
dual coil 0.8ribbon, 0.3ohm....prefer it over the quads...
the new MNKE's made a huge difference!!!

My favorite setup is .9 mm ribbon 4 wraps on duals. The vapor seems cooler, and thicker.

6mg....no lung hits.....i do it for the flavor....as u can see from the pic at the beginning of the thread i use as little eko as possible and wrap really tight......it sparks with flavor....

i only have one dripper- the trident above....i prefer kayfuns @ about 1ohm microcoil using 28awg (9-11wraps)
