I've been sanding down the drip tip itself because I'd like to be able to use the stock one without it being too loose. Also, if you have drip tips that are broken at the base they'll work even better than sanding a good tip. This is because it's much tighter and the air control cap will come off with the tip making for easier dripping.

does anyone have an idea on how to bore out the hole to fit in your drip tip? i want to use other drip tips but they are too large for the hole...

A machine shop is your friend here. Have you ever tried to drill stainless steel? The stuff is really hard and can destroy most standard drill bits.

Thanks scrappy, I ordered an ohms meter today but will probably check out radio shack tomorrow for a cheap one so I don't have to wait, it will be nice to have a spare around just in case. Is the 1.7 ohms the combined measurement of the 2 coils?
I've never had a coil not glow, could it be the nemesis? Seems unlikely to me. The stock coils in the trident have like 7 wraps of what looks like to me are high resistance wire because the wire is so thin

That should be both coils together. When you add a second coil it splits the resistance in half, so if you have two 1 ohm coils it'll be .5 ohms total. That 1.7 ohm set up is pretty high for a mech mod but if it's high resistance wire then it sounds like one of the coils isn't firing. When I do dual micro coils with 8 wraps of 32g wire they're about 1.7 ohms each. But whether it's one coil not firing or just high resistance, your Nemesis won't fire it well until you get closer to 1 ohm. My personal favorite is between .6-.8 ohms. Just make sure your batteries can handle sub ohms. If you're not sure then just pick up the Sony 30 amp batteries and be done with it because they can handle .2 ohms for short bursts. They're the US18650VTC3 and are pretty cheap. If you order from Fasttech then expect to wait a month to get them, but you'll pay half the price.
