ihad an analog the other day, first one in 4 mo. and thought i was going to fall over from the buzz. kindas fun actually, it brought back memories of that first smoke so many yrs. ago out behind the barn.
I've read over and over how bad analogs taste after vaping for a while. I would try it only because I'm curious but I don't have any and havn't had any since Jan. 17. I'm not gonna buy a pack just to satisfy my curiosity. I was in a casino a couple nights ago and was really starting to get sick of the smoke smell that I never even noticed when I used to smoke.
LOL, I have to laugh at this. I was in Vegas a week ago or so and walked in the Excalibur and thought holy crap you can smell the smoke in here. I always thought you couuldnt because of the ventilation systems... Nope it was a broken sniffer.
i too smoked 1 cig after a week w/o one just because i truly did enjoy smoking.
needless to say after 1/2 the cig i crawled up my stairs and into bed because my
head was spinning and my stomach was turning. i curled into the fetal position
and slept for 3 hrs cause i felt so sick. i'll never touch one ever again...i swear
I am also a success story thus far. I went only 33 hours w/out an analog last monday and had 1 smoke the following morning out of curiosity. I went from feeling great (and a little wierd) to "holy cow, this tastes horrible! Last Saturday (4-11) was my first full day since then w/out a smoke, only vaping and now its been almost 6 whole days. My sense of smell has returned big time and only took about 2 days to really start improving (just in time for spring) and my taste has also returned. My lungs are slowly improving. I will never go back as long as these are still available. Now thats great after 12 years of a 2 pack a day habit and a bunch of failed attempts to quit for even a whole day. Too bad I cant get the non-smoking banner to work as my signature though
See the problem is after vaping for a while, you tend to think, hey, a regular smoke couldnt hurt/would be nice/I miss them, why not/ ect ect. But once you cave in like I did the first time, it only reafirms why you started vaping in the first place. Now I realize, whats the point to caving in? Id advise any avid vaper to think not twice, but many times over before going back. By the time your done thinking, the craving will have probably passed lol
Vaping has now totally replaced analogs for me. I tried an analog 3 days after my 510 arrived and I had to put it out after 4 drags. It tasted like dirt. After nearly a month of vaping, my energy is back, my sense of smell and taste have returned, my sinuses have cleared up, and my better half says I don't snore as loud or as much (although I never thought I ever snored - LOL). Nothing else has ever changed my life for the better in such a short time --since I have yet to win the lottery.
