I wanted to ask the veterans this question but I am still a "noob" so I can't. Anyway I have been OBSESSED with this forum for 5 days. I didn't join till yesterday but I have been reading everything on it for five. I am not like a lot of noobs that want something that "looks like a ciggarette". I don't want to waste my time or money on working my way up to a good mod. I don't care what it LOOKS like. I want something that is going to be satisfying right off the bat! I will spend more to get it. This is what I am looking for...

1. Lots of vapor! Whatever produces the most! To me smoking is seeing the smoke. (I know it sounds weird.) lol
2. Battery that last for at around 8 hours. I don't want to have to change them 4 times a day.
3. Some kind of warrenty on the battery/mod that is good for at least 6 months if that is possible.

What are some of the higher end mods that I should look at? Around the $150 to $250 range. If you can provide a link to a website for purchasing that would be great! I would like it to be a American made product but am open to suggestions.

I have been smoking for 22 years, about a pack a day of Marlboro Lights. I quit once for 9 months and then stupidly picked them back up on vacation.

Thank you to anyone that will give me (a "noob") the time of day to answer my questions because after all this reading the last few days....I have a brain cramp. LOL:facepalm:

Tracy, if you want consistent reliable vape that is easier than smoking, get a REO. The Mini is slightly larger than a zippo lighter and is my personal favorite. They will be available in a couple of weeks. The Grand (slightly larger) will be available next week. Read the posts on the REO forum. Get your 5 posts on New Members and say ""hi." http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/

I was lucky, the REO was my second pv...but I wish it had been my first. :)

+1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have many mods and have used many smaller 510's and 808 cig. styles. I have been fine with 5 volts and use an Xhaler from Nhaler. I also use 2 different Buzz's this is a VV and I love them Just so you know my next one will be the Provarie....black with the extended cap. I look forward to this one!!!!!! But,, have to tell you this...as soon as you put your money into an expensive one....something ALWAYS comes out that is said to be better :) So, this is a GREAT mod. that I will get but if you want to try something out first without too much damage to the bank....try notcigs "The Buzz or Infinity. JMO Good luck and keep on vaping.

edit:...just looked at speeds sig. lol......we use the same devises. hmmmmmm??? :)

You'll probably get lots of recommendations for feeders and variable voltage devices and if you think they'll suit your needs, go in that direction.

If you want something that "just works" and will produce thick flavorful vapor, give you great battery life, consistent wattage, and a comes with a lifetime warranty, I highly recommend a 5v GLV-2 from Great Lakes Vapor.

If you think 5v may be a a little much for you, The 3.7v GLV Mini and GLV Super Mini are just as solid.

Thanks so much for the "Welcome"! It is nice to know that I am not alone in the overwelming amount of info on this forum! Who knew that e smoking, I am sorry vaping, could be so complicated. I for one am willing to learn all about it. 3 months 3 hours, so what do you use? Thank you for taking the time to reply.
You are going about it the wright way keep it up i've been doing it over 1.5 years much better then cigs.Bought and sold cheap stuff.Did't have some of the goods they have now.I feel the provarie is the best on the market not cheap .... worth it for what you get,the rio is also good not as many options but it is a bottom feeder.

Question...Still don't understand what a drip tip is? What is its use?

Drip tip replaces the cartridge. Screw on your atomizer, place drip tip on atomizer, and drip 2-3 drops of juice down the hole and vape away. When the flavor and vapor lessen, repeat the 2-3 drops. You get a truer (is that a word) taste of your juice.
