Triple V mod?

Ok, so I ordered my VVV mod from kalamazoo vapor shop and I'm having trouble with the vape! The mod works perfect, I'm very happy with the quality, the customer service was OUTSTANDING, but the vape seems really harsh. I got the 5volt regulated...upgrading from the 3.7 I started on because I have seen so many people talk about how 5v is a very sweet vape. I'm using the carts that I'm supposed to use with the mod, but the juice seems alot harsher on the throat. I DIY my own juice using an e-juice calculator online. I'm doing a 50/50pg vg mix @ 20% flavor. Can anyone give me some advice on what I could do to make the experience less harsh? Oh, and my nic level is only a 12.

Do you know what ohm rating the carto your using is? If it's the same you were using at 3.7 that's going to give you a harsher vape. In that case you'd want use a little higher ohm rating at 5v.

going up in ohms will help. But 5v can be harsh, approx 40% of people that try find out they prefer 3.7 to 4.4v.

Sounds like they gave you lower resistance cartos. 5volts will require higher ohms as the previous posters suggested.
The combo shown in the image below may be a little harsh at 10 watts, 9 watts would be better

hey mick, i have heard a lot about the 4-4.5v range being pretty awesome, is there a pv that you can buy already set up in just that range, or is that something that you have to drop the xtra bucks and go vv ? 3.7v isnt quite enough and with 5-6v, ive had to cut my vape inhale down to about 2-3 seconds or it seems too harsh and devours my juice, lol

No don't be, I'm interested as well. To my present knowledge I've never heard of 4 or 4.5 pv. I have heard of Vari Volt mods but those are pretty expensive. Also, to the others I did want to mention I bought two sets of these VVV mods and the same cart on my pv was harsh, but when putting the same cart on the other mod it was not as harsh and the flavor was so delicious, so what could be happening? Could it be that my VVV is not regulated? I mean mine was harsh to the point that both of us got choked out!!! Hers was just harsh. Could it be that juice takes time to settle in the cart or that the juice needs to sit for a min? The juice was made right before we tried them...
