Good news!

I found a vendor on eBay that sells replacement grommets for our coils!

They're sold as "Coil Insulators for CE & EVOD" in packs of 10. (Not cheap).

THAT GUY MADE THE GROMMET REMOVAL/REPLACEMENT LOOK SO DAMN EASY! WHAT?!

Seriously, rebuilding these would be a piece of cake if it wasn't for that ridiculous grommet needing a ridiculous tool and being ridiculously annoying. Ugh. When I tried, I thought, "I may have gotten it out, but I'm not getting it back in." That guy made it look as easy as putting on a hat. <grumble> I hope someone gets it done.

i got me some flat wire and 2 mm wick like 3 weeks ago. i happen to have lots of random little tools lying around (including some insanely useful needle point tweezers) and i can now rebuild a coil in 10 mins or less. one problem i have noticed though is that the grommet starts tearing after 4 or 5 removals.
