Rewicked this last night, but no pic of it. This is the original wicking. Magma, 28g Kanthal, 3mm...1.8Ohm on the istick.
Trouble making coils, need suggestions...(this is embarassing)

Zac, I'm really glad you posted, since now i know about the coil master and actually just ordered the kit case that has the coiler, tweezers etc... Looks pretty sweet 
I have a week off between jobs coming up so my goal is to have a decent coil going on my kayfun lite, i'm sure it will take some fidgeting.

Amazon.com sells pre-built coils. And guess who the actual seller is ???? Rip Trippers. I bought a 10 pack. My coils look like heck, and my eye sight isn't all that great. So I thought I'd try the pre-built. I think they were about $6.00 for 10 pack. 24 ga .80 ohm each.
If you buy it from Fasttech, they'll charge you less than $3 for a pack of 50.
I know FT somewhat popular to some ecf members and a few others. I try to buy mostly from America. Not always successful, but I do try.
