trouble with aspire BVCs

Hi all, new member here and fairly new to vaping...

I'm having some trouble with my BVC coils in my Nautilus Mini.
I'm finding that when I take the bottom of the tank apart to refill, sometimes the coil stays in and the bottom unscrews. Once filled, the tank will then gurgle and leak really badly.

To sort this, I take it all apart and clean it. However once all put back together, the coil I put back no longer works. The light on my aspire battery just flashes and when I put the tank on my VW ego battery the screen flashes and shows the word 'low'. If I replace the coil it works fine again but I'm getting through coils rapidly.

The coils I'm using are genuine from a reputable supplier. Any assistance gratefully received!

That's really helpful, thanks for that. Only thing that I'm not clear on is why the coil won't work after refilling...

Won't work after refilling?? Never heard that one before the BVC coils are amazing the lifespan might not be as long but they are pretty awesome

It generally happens after the coil is tight in the tank and requires pliers just to get it turning to unscrew. When I put the coil back on, my VW battery screen flashes 'low' in relation to ohms...

This sounds like the atty is not making a proper connection to your battery.

Its all screwed tight back together so not sure what causes it to not have a proper connection...

Well if you over tighten the bottom cap I can see it getting all messed up but besides that idk what else would cause that

mine was gurgling too. I just shake the tank for 10-20 sec and it works fine.

So far my aspire nautilus is my favorite stock tank. But my favorite rebuilt tank is a evod 1 i rebuild with 28 kanthall wrap 6 times around 1/16 drill bit and wick with organic cotton balls. This gives and 0.8 ohm coil and it puts off a hella lot of vapor, flavor and throat hit on 7 watts.

If you are needing to use pliers it sounds like you are putting things together to tight, really easy to do on the mini.
Put the top on first snug. Put the coil into the bottom just snug, if to tight you squish the o-rings and they will deform.
Now fill and put the bottom onto the bottle. This only needs to be tighten about a 1/4 - 1/2 turn after you feel it touch the rubber portion. It seems to get tighter with use. If you tighten to tight, it is really hard to get off when you try to take it off to refill, then don't tighten as much next time.
Once you put pliers to the coil you are probably deforming it and breaking it.

The gurgling is probably vapor lock and you either need to not pull so hard when vaping or open the airflow some. Shaking or some dry hits should solve the problem when it happens.
