My Icon is great except for when I get new batteries they smoke great for about a week. After a week it doesn't burn good enough to get the flavor like it does with new batteries. Has anyone else had this problem. Is this typical for all mods? I'm spending $40 a month and half the month I'm smoking flavorless. I feel like I'm wasting juice and I miss the flavor, any advice?

A Harder hitting Regulated Mod would cure this issue. Several mod types are regulated to 5v. That means new or old fresh or low charge they will hit at 5v Every time. VV mods are regulated to what voltage you have it set at. Your experiancing the Small diffrences in battery wear over time. A regulated mod would give you consistant hits over the life of the battery.

Gotta wonder, though- a week is NOT long.

What are you using on it- cart or atty wise? I don't have an Icon, but do have a 14500 mod, which means I'm using the same batts as you. And mine have been going strong for months. (It's not my all day every day vape; just a solid little DIY box mod. But I've had it a good while, and used it a lot until recently.)

Best,

I agree if you want consistency go regulated but batteries should last way longer than that.

What battery and charger are you using with it?

For further testing you'd need a multimeter, which I'd recommend getting for any person vaping. You'll be able to better isolate the issues by checking the batteries voltage fresh off the charger. Without testing if it's happened with multiple batteries I'd tend to think it was more of a charger issue.

I'm using 510 soft cap cartomizers.

...actually, that is not an answer to the question asked...there are 510 soft cap cartomizers from 1.25ohms to 4.5ohms...there are single coils and double coils which fall in those ranges and .2ohms makes a diff in batt life...saying that, it shouldn't matter what you are using, you should be getting better longevity out of your batt than what you are reporting......
