Poor Trumpy is in the wars again,
I am having Trumpy do some mods for me,
so I have been waiting for news of him receiving a massive package of parts for the modding, ........
here is what I got from him tonight, .........

G'Day Di,
There might be a considerable delay in mudding:(
As you might know, I was in a nasty motorcycle accident a few years ago which left my left leg pretty messed up and also did some damage to my right knee . The last four years have been fairly stressful on said right knee as it has to do 75% of the work in me getting around.
Anyway yesterday I was doing the usual morning routine which involves feeding the animals and chickens, letting the dog out of her pen etc . Bonnie , chocolate labrador, requires at least a 10 minute muck around session on liberation , and while doing this with her I took a step and turn to throw her ball for her fun and amusement. All very innocent lol
Well unfortunately top half of leg did this perfectly , however the bottom half didn't, result ...... full dislocation of tibia and fibia, ligaments damaged and it appears quite a bit of cartilage torn off as well....layman's terms I saw ****ing stars and the world exploded as I fell to the ground with my foot at right angles to the rest of me !!! As you know I am fairly rural , so I had to relocate knee myself while fending off the dog who thought this was a new and exciting game. Anyway managed to get upright but not a chance in hell I could weight bear on the leg, so I was stuck in the paddock for a good 1/2 hour before luckily a neighbour heard my shouts ( good lungs , thank you Mr E-cig !!!)
Hospital/clinic/back to hospital later I am now awaiting x-rays and leg is sporting about 2 inches of Jones bandages until the results of x-rays, and a week of no weight bearing rest takes place, crutches are limited because of my previous left leg injuries, so I am basically in a wheelchair or the couch for the duration, best case scenario is a few weeks, worst case might be a knee replacement, which could be months.
So it might be a while til I can do the job for you, I am on some pretty heavy meds, so even if I could try I wouldn't cos I'm very likely to **** it up lol !!
Hope you don't mind, but it might be a few weeks before I can even try ??
Feel free to submit this letter to the message board as an example of how e-cigs saved my life lol
I really wasn't looking forward to dragging myself a few hundred yards across stubble and gravel to get to the phone in the kitchen!!! 8-o
Cheers
Trump.

so obviously e-cigs saved him, cos he has good lung strength to call for help !!!!!!!

get well soon Trumpy .........

All the best Trumpy! Back in January a similar thing happened to me on the top step outside my house - right knee dislocated, ligaments torn etc. I've had an op to put everything right and stabilise the knee - still using a cricket splint and crutches but it's getting better! You know how it is with these things - time is everything. Tramadol is great for the pain and Celebrex for the swelling. The good news is that you'll have time to get some serious vaping in! Get well soon !

OUCH !!! All my best wishes go out to you Trumpy, in this painful time.

I know "exactly" how that must feel as I'm still attempting to recoup with continuous surgeries after an MVA 2 years ago while I was crossing the road leaving me with a messed up leg and ongoing knee issues (well that and many other injuries....damn speeding cops !!).

This is the only time in your life where being a "druggy" is completely acceptable and expected, lol...

Yes, Tramacet (at a minimum), is your friend.... haha

Greg
