So my buddy has a Trustfire charger (2 slot type) which is only a couple of months old (i have one as well but have since gotten a NiteCore) and he mentioned the other day that his has started making an audible buzzing sound. He didnt say it was horribly loud or scary loud; just buzzing.
Now the one I have doesn't make any buzzing at all. I do know some battery chargers will make some kind of buzz sometimes but the fact that his buzzes and mine doesn't makes me wonder if his is starting to go bad or is just broken in so to speak.

Anyone have any feedback on this? No pun intended! :p

The buzzing noise in not normal and IMO I would toss it as they are not that expensive to replace vs safety. I had a cheap charger that came with a Vamo and also a Intellicharger that buzzed after a few weeks of use. They basically stopped charging properly and the cheap no named charger actually got very warm. I've been running a efest luc charger for almost a year now with zero issues but if it ever started to buzz I'd replace it in a heartbeat. Good luck.

Yea i have a nitecore now but this was my buddy's and the only one he has but that is what i needed to hear that it was rather normal for them which i suspected after finding not much on the web except that they do make some noise. I imagine if it turns into some really loud ugly noise he will just trash it and get something better.

Appreciate the feedback!

Yeah that's the charger I'm currently using (seems to be the only 2 slot charger the stores around here in pittsburgh sell) and it makes a ear piercing sound while charging...I just make sure that the charger is closer to the ground (not on carpet) while i'm sitting in my chair in the office. I'm thinking about picking up a Nitecore D4 soon tho.
