Truth about citric acid

Iam very new to diy e liq.
And wanted to start
Already posted those questions on reddit but couldnt get an answer

I have been searching for the past few days including here for my answers but ,well, i couldnt figure out specific answers

So my first thing to go to would be flavourless liquid maybe add WS 23, the only problem i cant get nic salt conc. Where i live ,nor benzoic acid and the only viable option would be citric acid




So what i need help with :

1 is it ok to use CA ?
2 What purity should it be ?
3 how to convert free base into salt nic. with CA ?

4 Could citric acid damage rta O-rings?

5 Also after some more search i found out people are using CA already for other vaping purposes example : flavour ,so doesnt it make nicotine salt????

I have high conc. Freebase and wanna convert it

Salt is better for me + freebase gives me lung burn
