I have been cleaning my 510 atty using baking soda and vinegar for a while now. So I thought hey why not the BVC. I cleaned one last night now it is sitting in a vodka bath. I will report back but it will be a while, because I put a new coil in my tank and won't replace it till I lose flavor or vapor. We all know that could take a while lol.
Here is a video where I learned to do it. Is this overkill .....maybe maybe not :vapor:

I just put it in another tank let it sit for about 20 min did a few dry pulls and the Beast lives . Is this the best way? Heck I don't know. All I can say is I am very happy with the results :vapor:

So you cleaned the coil in baking soda and vinegar and then soaked it in vodka and rinsed with warm water and then let it dry and all is good? Please let me know how long this last before it starts to fail again. Thanks!

I just soak my BVC in Everclear for a few hours then rinse with warm water and let it dry out. They do get very clean and no left over smell from the previous e-liquid. I noticed the BVC's take longer to dry out then the BDC's.

Once you clean them in the ever clear and then let them dry out how long do they last then before the same thing starts to happen again?

Will do I have cleaned them by just soaking them. I think the reaction with the baking soda should get them a little cleaner and doesn't take long at all. I love how it cleans my 510 atty.

I soaked a BVC coil I had in ever clear for 4 hours and then rinsed it for a couple of minutes with very hot water and then I let it sit out for 3-4 days drying and I just put it back into my Nautilus and it's been working fine now for 2 days and I did not dry burn it. It's getting great flavor and vapor production so I am pretty pleased. Keep in mind prior to cleaning this coil I had already used it for a little over a week.

Put them under the tap with very hot water for a couple of minutes. Don't forget to blow hard from the battery end, excess water will be out in no time since it's ceramic filling.

Update I quit doing this a while back was not really helping that much. I still clean my 510 atty that way. I tried to dry burn but that really didn't work out too well either. Now I just give them a good rise under hot water juices are water soluble. If they start to taste burnt quickly I toss them. I have stocked up when they were on sale for half off. Nothing like a brand new coil. :vapor:

i would wonder if the baking soda could precipitate out and clog the micropores in the ceramic causing some loss of wicking.
