Trying a RDA for the first time...

So I bought a couple of V10 RDAs (they were cheap) the other day to try out, just to see what dripping was all about. I'm running them on top of my Magneto.

I've discovered that 24MG nicotine is a BAD idea.... LMAO


I tried some 18 MG vape Apes Gogi/Melonberry, and that was pretty tasty, but still a bit to heavy/harsh. I am currently at 24MG nicotine, and am stepping down to 18 MG here in the next week or so. What would be a good place to start, nicotine wise for dripping? Sorry for the Noob question, just wondering what would be a decent place to start

really depends how much your vaping habits will change

RDAs tend to put out a ton of vapor. If it's new and you're into it, you'll probably be vaping more for a while. I'd go down to 12 for those instances, given what you normally vape. That should be good.

You could even go down to 0 nic until your habits get back to normal

When I started dripping, I was at 18 mg (in transition to 12 mg actually) for my carto tanks, like you it was way over the top too much. I will be dripping at 6 mg after today now that my DIY supplies are here as 12 is still too much for me. If I were you, I'd start my test dripping at 12 mg.

I'm usually at 12 or 18 on most things. On a well built dripper, 6mg works for me.

I started at 18 mg on an evod and protank when I switched to RDAs I dropped to 6 immediately. lol

I too vape 18mg normally, but for my RDA I drip 8mg or 10mg. 18 will get you an insane nicotine buzz.

I was doing 12mg from tanks and 6mg from my new RDA is still pretty stout.

Looks like the consensus is at least half of what you would use in a tank/clearo...

Same for me, 12 in a tank, need 6 in a dripper or else it's... "hello head-rush!"

I tried 24mg from my IGO - hey, it's all I have.

Yeah, I need some 6mg.

My IGO is now on the shelf, for the moment.
