for the first time in over a year. reason for it was I wanted to see if American Spirits all natural tobacco affected me. I smoked the whole cig. It wasnt so bad. a little too natural and bland but ok. My energy level was still fine. Then i tried a marlboro medium. I felt sick after the first 3 drags. I tossed it away. So maybe all natural tobacco really isnt so bad? not saying you should start smoking it but maybe we are getting somewhere.

This guy george burns who died at 101 smoked natural tobacco in a pipe for the last 40 years of his life i think. he never got cancer lived a healthy life. this makes me wonder

There are people who get shot in the head and live to tell about it, but I'm not volunteering for any studies...Not really trying to be a SA, just pointing out there are exceptions to every rule. Most people that I have known who smoke stogies or pipes don't inhale the smoke either. I tend to disagree with your premise that natural cigs might not be too bad, just because even without the modifiers and enhancing agents, burning tobacco still contains a whole bunch of bad stuff - that's just the nature of the beast. :vapor:

People like George Burns have unusual genes, which allow them to abuse their body and still live to a long age. The majority of people who smoke do die early from smoking.

Tobacco is tobacco, and just because american spirit is natural tobacco does not mean it is any safer or healthier. It still produces tar and carbon dioxide, and the usual blend of carcinogens.

Look up tobacco specific nitrosamines, tsna. Those are really bad cancer causing chemicals. To the best of my knowledge, they come about through the basic burning tobacco, not due to the 600 and change additives.

(When people talk about 4000 chemicals in cigs, those are due to the combustion of the tobacco plus the additives, the 4000 are not themselves all added.)
