I sub ohm 18-20 mg and it doesn't bother me at all. I have been trying to use up my 24mg pg that I started with. I mix it with 18 mg VG. I wanted less nic but I wrongly ordered the 18 mg instead of 3 or 6. I was actually worried that I wouldn't get enough nicotine lol. I am probably Vaping 5 or 6 ml a day. I have been Vaping a year but only quit smoking 4 weeks ago. Everyone's tolerance to the nic, the pg and the VG is different. It might take awhile to figure out what is best for you and what will keep you off the cigs. And don't forget, your body will go through some "healing" when you quit and that too is different for everyone. Stay positive and good luck!
Subohm'g this high mg knocked me off my feet. I found out the nic-sic way this was way too high for me.

I actually very rarely drank water at all haha, I was more of a Mountain Dew kind of guy. When I started vaping I made the switch to nothing but water and drink about 60-80 ounces of it a day now...
Didn't read all the answers, but dependable on how much of that Mountain Dew you drinked, it is very possible that you got your self addicted to a sugar, Taurine an rest of the coctail drugs pack, and now you are suffering consequences... Dizzy, headache, muscle pain, it all comes as a sign of body in a need of a stimulans. I drink a lot of coffee, and i mean a lot. At least 4 or 5 of them during the day, black coffee with lots of sugar. It does not affect my sleep, but if i don't get my morning shot, i get headache, dizzy, i'm sleepy and cranky all day and feel like i slept under the running train. Short breathe means that the vape style or the juice you are vaping is not suitable for you. Try to play with different ratios of PG and VG in your juice. Most people are stating they are alergic to PG, but the fact is only 3% of the world population is indeed alergic to PG, and those persons are also alergic to all kinds of different cosmetics and food products. Same goes for VG, but noone seems to believe it and thus they are all forcing juices with high VG content, nevermind some of them are suffering from short breath and similar sindromes related to over exposure to VG. If nothing works, reduce the power you are vaping at and increase the nicotine so your body doesn't crave for it. I my self cannot vape those subohmies, after 2-3 days i get heavy feeling on my chests and short breathe. Tried countless combinations since i make my own juice for the most part, no luck. Using my vape the same way i used to smoke brings things back to normal within 2-3 days again.

I do temp control alot now which is usually 520 degrees at 40 watts (.15 - .2 nickel coils). If i'm on wattage with .5 kanthal coils, its usually about 27-30 watts.

Oh, I see it now;
you live in the freezer :D: alberta canada;

you need more wattage just to get started

The title of this thread was "Trying not to buy cigarettes". if you are craving a smoke it's probably because your vape isn't supplying the nic your body wants.

As a new vaper, maybe 30 watts is too much for you in spite of the fact that you were smoking before you vaped. Turn it down a bit and find the sweet spot that doesn't make you dizzy.

I know that sounds crazy, but that's how we quit. We matched the nic from our cigarettes with our vape and just hit it a little harder when the cravings started. The hand to mouth habit and the blowing out of vapor that resembled smoke was satisfied by the ecig. Sometimes, people complained of dizziness from their eGo and had to back off a bit.

You might want to get checked out just for the sake of not ignoring symptoms. If your doctor is honest with you, he'd want you vaping instead of smoking. If he tells you that vaping is as bad as cigarettes, find another doctor. He's either biased or uneducated about vaping if he does.

My doctor thinks it's great that I'm vaping instead of smoking. I demonstrated mine in his examining room and he was so impressed that he ordered some electronic cigarette pamphlets for his waiting room and encouraged his patients to switch.

Other have said go to a Doctor, I also think so. But I gotta tell ya I went through hell my last time quiting. Night sweats, feeling cold, got sick a lot, smelled really bad, quit zits... This lasted for about 6 months. I cut out the vaping didn't help. I swear the reason I don't go back to smoking is I don't wanna go through that 'purging' again.
