I quit smoking after 25 years with Green Smoke. I then went to APV. I have all kinds of gear, many juices......but I still would rather have a Green Smoke red label or vanilla. They must know what people want. I'm sure many companies are similar. Halo, EverSmoke, White Cloud, etc.

Does anyone simply continue to smoke these brands, or are they too expensive with the cartos being disposable. I am trying to decide whether to simply stick with what I like or continue to search for the "perfect mix" of e-juice. There are SO many I have been frustrated. Today, I simply ordered what I like from the company that makes them.

How many people have vaped the 801 variety (small battery and disposable carto) for a few months? Anyone?

I started straight away with an eGo and clearo setup, but if you like the prefilled carts and that's what works for you, go with it, man. Maybe they are a little more expensive, but still probably cheaper than smokes. I did a google search for greensmoke red label juice when I read your post, the first thing that came up was a bunch of threads here on ECF of other people trying to find a similar flavor to the same ones you are looking for, check the threads, see what they have to say. Might find something close there!

Good idea, I'll do that. I have tried 3 tobacco flavors with no luck and 2 vanilla juices with no luck. They taste okay with my eGo Twist and clearomizer. I have tried different Ohm, voltages, etc.....just can't find the same satisfaction. Green Smoke really has good initial customer satisfaction.

I will start searching for people doing the same as me. Thanks for the tip. I am going to do some math also. Maybe I will save money over real smokes vaping what I like.

You can use Green Smoke cartomizers with a 510 battery like your Twist using one of these adapters, Adaptor, 510 Battery to KR808D-2 Cartomizer.

Heather's Heavenly Vapes Vanilla Dream is a decent vanilla. The bourbon was a bit strong for me but Vanilla Bourbon Bean from Highbrow has good vanilla flavor. The most authentic vanilla flavor I've had is from Ahlusion but they don't sell a straight up vanilla. However, the vanilla in the Vanilla Black Tea is in the forefront. The store closes daily when they reach capacity.

Grant's Vanilla Custard is very popular but is usually out of stock.

I never went hunting for Red Label as it tasted too much like cigarettes for me. However, I did find a dead ringer for Green Smoke's Absolute in UpStomp's White Spur at LJ's e-Smokes. You might want to ask LJ's if they have some juice that is similar to Red Label as they carry the Green Smoke pre-filled cartomizers.

Thanks for all this info. Great stuff. I didn't know I could use my twist with those cartos. Anyone know what voltage to set an eGo twist 1000Mah to smoke Green Smoke cartos? Is 3.2V low enough?

Thanks for the vanilla and tobacco flavors. (especially vanilla) I will try them.

It ALL depends on how much each individual vapes to determine if sticking with someone like Green Smoke will be cheaper....or more expensive.

Since i began to vape......I think I smoke more. I am vaping all day. When I smoked, I would wait 30-60 min before having another. So there is no way to determine cost difference. This vaping can get expensive, but still, I would rather vape than smoke. I am someone who thought I would never quit.

The nicotine uptake is much slower from vaping than smoking, 20 minutes versus instantaneous from cigarettes. I think that may part of the reason that it seems many more people vape more frequently than they smoked. However, a few people do vape higher nicotine juices less frequently.

I think you will find as you find juices you like that you will be spending a lot less of vaping than you did smoking unless the hobby bug bites you.

I had no idea the nicotine uptake was "delayed" with vaping. Good to know. I started mixing juices and found one I like. (Vanilla, mocha, coffee, with "sweet cream" mixed in. (from MFS) but their juices have disappointed me.

About that "hobby bug" I am a serious electronics addict. I already have 2 eGo twists and 2 different tanks plus green smoke in the 1st 10 days. I hope I can stick with that stuff for a while.

Too bad we have to pay shipping (at most sites) for trying juices. We all keep looking until we are happy I guess. Thanks for the info all of you.

I miss my Greensmokes, shame they are so expensive.

I'm starting to realize they aren't as expensive as some think. I just paid 2.75 USD each for the cartos. They last almost a day for me. If you buy 8 or 16 packs per order, but it DOES depend on how much you use them. It's all subjective. I'm sticking with them for a while. (with some other liquid and eGo battery and tank on the side) See how that goes.

I thought so too, until I saw $2 cartos from V2 (which I never bought), then saw e-juice at 0.50$ per mL. There's ~1 mL of juice in a carto.

One can always refill cartos, but the Green Smokes are notoriously difficult to open.

All too true. If I could get the same flavor and throat hit with my eGo twist and tanks I would do it today. Thinking of trying tribeca or RY4. They seem to be highly rated.

I never found a replacement for GS flavors, but Tribeca turned out better.

There's lots of tobacco imitation out there, including "ashtray" flavor (not kidding), but I find most are a synthetic blend of "kettle corn" and chocolate; it smells like a freshly opened pack of analogs, and the taste is so-so, but it's just not the same. I've quit looking.

Consider Halo's new Southern Classic; it's nothing like the description; it's a bourbon flavor, without alcohol, perfume, or anything "flowery".

Thank you for the information. I will consider those flavors. I hope tribeca works out.

Even if the price is slightly higher AND you have to order everything off the net (at least here where I live....no good vape shops) It's worth it. I'm to the point where I don't want to go back to analogs. (And I have 2 cartons in the freezer) haha

ANOTHER thing I like about GreenSmoke is their USB cig. (is "pass though" the correct term?) I use that more than anyhting. I plug that into my laptop or desktop and vape all day. I know there are other ways to use USB for power but GreenSmoke makes it SO easy. Ahhhhh I sound like i'm a fan boy or work there. I know 10 other brands must have the same. I don't see that USB "battery" with other companies.

You're welcome.

Something to consider also, which I found out, after making my gear choices; nicotine absorption is 10 to 40%, that of analogs.

Now I used to smoke 15 analogs per day, so... to make a story short, assumed I'd be vaping 1 mL per day, and I was off; it's more like 2 mL per day, at twice the strength, but... if I calculate 25% (middle between 10 and 40), I'm getting the same nicotine I used to.

Short point; you will probably vape more than you smoked, at least in the beginning.

I have been using Halo Prime 15 and I like tons. I tried to find something close to GS but notta. I did hear that White Rhino is similar but I have not tried. I have ordered a lot of juices but not into that fruity crap. I did like Mister E Blue Voodoo but even after a day or two I go back to Halo Prime. I prefer 12 MG vs 6. I will continue my hunt for a good few options that I like. As all rookies, I started with the E cig type and quickly moved on to Evod with Ego twists and now on to Vamo V3 with Protank. Don't even use my GS starter kit anymore.

I would like to know how this was determined. If this is true, I can see why vaping all day isn't giving me too much nicotine. Thanks. I will look this up.

I now believe I will never "recreate" the GreenSmoke flavor. It's like different brands of cigarettes. I will simply need to find something that works.
