Hi Guys/Gals

I'm new to vaping and used to be a heavy smoker. About 17 years ago I got my older brother into smoking because I hooked him up with my girlfriends best friend and we all smoked but him. He tried smoking for a while but was allergic at first and quit in the beginning due to him coughing a bit of blood. He started again and kept at it and now he's been smoking ever since and I want him to quit badly. I also got him into World of Warcraft 6-7 years ago till now but thats another story. Now I want us to start vaping together and help him quit these deadly cigarettes for good.

I quit smoking after me and my wife got married 9 years ago and found out we were having our first child. It was luckily easy for me for some reason. My brother on the other hand has now got a wife and first child 14 months old and I really worry for his health and his wife's. He is a heavy smoker and heavy gamer and has really gotten out of shape. When we were younger all we did was go to the gym to work out or do martial arts.

Now I finally know what I want but I'm having trouble finding a good supplier who ships it to Canada. Me being a newbie at this purchased e-cigs from epuffer due to as seen on TV ad got me somehow. Waiting for refund atm. I later realized I want something decent to good from the start just like others things Im passionate about like cars/sport bikes and speed. Anyways I made 4 almost bad purchases but backed out at the checkout because I decided to look up reviews on sellers or found out hours later they don't ship to Canada.

After hours of reading on this forum which is fantastic, I'm leaning towards a VMax V5 with a good tip and high end battery and charger.
I'm also really liking from alot of info here the
Provari V2.5
Vamo V5
MVP2
Innokin VTR
Innokin iTaste
eVic not so much after a few more reviews but who kknows and a few Mech ones not sure model names.

getting it for my brother to help him quit and for me just for the pleasure of non nicotine great tasting vapors.
Not sure if I want to step all the way up to the Provari yet for quality but I want quality with modern technology a bit.
For my brother I'm thinking the Z-Max V5 but where to get that model?
from the top of my head a few people on this forum blew me away with tons of wisdom and knowledge like Baditude, Katya, Vapoor eyes er, and The oceleot.

Sorry for the long intro,.
i desperately need your guidance.
please help.
:vapor:
Thank you in advance
Jin

Here is a list of US vendors (by no means complete) of the Sigelei Zmax V3 and V5 Telescopics. These vendors are favorites of users on this particular thread. Price and warranty info included. I don't know if they ship to Canada. You will have to check that out.

I assume you are looking for Sigelei Zmax. Smok Zmax is another animal altogether and not nearly the same beast, IMHO.

Wow never really looked at that one. I guess when I was looking at Provape I couldn't take my eyes off the Provari and never thought about the little brother model. It looks great but would I be missing out vs the Provari from your opinion?

I have both a ProVari and ProVape-1s and use both. When you find the right juice, coil resistance and tank/topper, VV ceases to become so important. There are plenty of people who are more than happy with non-regulated mods.

First... Welcome Messiahlee! I hope someone here can help, but just one question first...

Does your brother/others want to quit? Even though vaping is a really exciting and satisfying hobby for the majority of us, we made the decision that we were ready to make the switch (to some extent) and someone who may be unwilling to give up the smokes may be reluctant to give it a try. Heck, some cringe and get apprehensive just thinking about giving up the tobacco.

Just curious, then we could help make some better informed recommendations for you!

Can you please share your setup on both PVs?
I'm so new to this and want it to be a great experience for us.
Thank you

Thank you for the kind words.
He's been trying for years and nothing has worked. He also lost his job ATM and can't afford to try Vaping even. The longest he's quit temporarily was 2 months than a break up with girlfriend or something and its us clubbing till he settles down again which means alot of partying.

The ZMAX V5 is a good PV to start with. It's better than an eGo and not as expensive as a ProVari. And if you get the button top batteries, they will work in a ProVari if later that's the way your brother wants to go.

Two other things:
Juice - Could be costly depending if your brother is really picky on what flavors he vapes and it takes a while to figure out what flavors, what liquid pg/vg percentages to use and also nicotine level. I suggest buying samplers or small bottles to begin with. It's more expensive but I guarantee there will be flavors he won't like and you don't want him to be stuck with large quantities that he's never going to use.

Delivery system - Clearomizers, cartomizers, tanks, rebuildables..... Something like the Protank 2 is probably the easiest way to go to start with. Lots use cartomizers and tanks as the flavor tends to be better but they are a tad bit harder to fill.

Also, back up equipment. Definitely need at least a couple of back ups, including an extra charger.

Thank you

The tank in the pic I posted is an IBTanked HalfLing with 2.0ohm coil. I also use Kanger ProTank2s on the ProVape-1s, 2.2-2.5 ohm coils-

On the ProVari, I use VapeRev tanks and ProTank 2s, as well, also 2.0-.25 ohm coils-

I forgot to mention the last place I verified that shipped to Canada for not over 50 bucks was ELiquid-USA and by fluke found a review on them on his forum. That was 2 hours wasted but lucky I didn't take a chance at receiving nothing but knockoffs or bad products.
Was I relieved though.
That's when I decided to start this thread.
What a relief.
