So I go to insert my charged 14500 into the mini & there is like at least half an inch of space between the bottom of the battery and the spring! WTF! How am I supposed to use this?

Yes, it is new. batteries are 14500 AW IMR 600mah. The spring looks fine. I'm trying to post a pic now.
If its not a mini, I can't imagine what a mini would look like. LOL. It would be the size of a paper clip. Its def a mini & that's what I bought. I think there's a too big bottle in there because I bought several 3 ml size bottles and they are much different.
Looks like a Grand, not a mini... Is the bottle a 6ml bottle or a 3ml bottle?
Unless Rob started using 2 magnets on the minis like the grands...its a REO Grand that uses 18650 batts...

I promise you thats a grand. It has 2 mags mini has 1. it has 6ml bottle mini has 3ml. the grand is thicker and longer thats why your 14500 looks like that in there. You need 18650 batts or contact ROB
A Mini would be about the same size as your palm. That for sure is a Grand. The Grand body is the same size as a business card. The Mini about the same size as a bic lighter in height.
Well, if you all think its a Grand, I will believe you since I have no clue. I did order a mini though. I'm glad I didn't get one because it would be too small.
