Hi REO folks! Yesterday I got my Cyclone and couldn't wait to play with it. Tumbled Grand asked if it could be it's new topper, and I said sure.

Just chillin', watching the birds pillage my feeders, while the snow is falling here in NC :)

Thanks for looking.

Thanks Robert and supersport. Later in the day I looked out and a red tail hawk was sitting on the ground next to one of my feeders:shock: Don't know if it was after the songbirds or the squirrels :D
If I had to guess I would say the song birds there always snacking morning doves out back

Congrats on the TRA! I loOoOOve mine too and the cyclone.

Funny story. The other day I had my little terrier mix puppy at the dog park. We had the park all to ourselves. It was a beautiful sunny morning and the puppy was diggin' all the smells and open space and frolicking in the park, all was right with the world.

Overhead was a redtail hawk circling the park. I thought, oh, wow! what a beautiful majestic bird....gliding effortlessly through the air, all regal looking....... And then I thought, Oh MY GOD:shock:!!! he's checking out my puppy. We left immediately.:)

I've seen them snatch mourning doves off of perches before and drive them to the ground, they are impressive hunters.

Congrats on the TRA! I loOoOOve mine too and the cyclone.

ha ha, good call! :)

Congrats on that setup :) you went all "old school" with the standard grand - Nice work.
Thanks super_X_drifter :) I thought about filing it down to an LP, but now have two LP's so really dig it as is :D I like "old school" stuff

Looks great ENAUD, I have one that never leaves my grand. I was thinking about sending the grand back to the spa to have it milled to an LP but the Cyclone is perfect. No need for the spa!

It's a flavor machine and I can squeeze a 26ga 1Ω in it no problem.

Enjoy sir!
If it ain't broke, don't fix it :) That coil metered out to 1.1Ω :) This setup actually runs cooler than I expected, I like it!

Alway's great pic's ENAUD! Congrats on the cyclone. Looks like the perfect match.
Thanks coaldriller, just sharin' the love for Reo's

Great looking setup Enaud!
How are you liking the twisted coil in the Cyclone? I have a Hornet & Igo-s on my older OG REOs and RM2 & Nuppin on my other 2. It seems there has been a lot of people commenting on their twisted coils and how much better they are than single wire coils. Do you find the same thing? I am curious how twisted performs with the smaller footprint of Cyclone/Hornet/Diva type atties,
I am so tempted to try a twisted on my Nuppin' but I have been hesitant as the single coil setup I have on now is so good! But you know how it is, always looking for that extra something.
I normally build a 7/8 wrap of 29g on a 16g leur with RxW that comes out at about 1.2 ohms. With the twisted would I need to add wraps to get the same resistance? Any insights welcomed. :)
