...ah yes, I recently bumped into a post where you advised against the yellow Tenergy 3.0V LifePO4s... but decided to put my hands over my ears and go "La la la la la" since I'm already buried in those too... ;) (Not really lol, only about 4-6 of 'em... charger too of course... but haven't been using HV lately anyway. :))
Lol...it's not that they won't work.....for a while....it's that we overstress them to hell and back...and that'll kill the duty life of them...lol...for example using them at 6V with these turbo cartomizers you're hitting an amp draw of 1.94A (1940mA)....and the max drain of those is <550mA... so only 3 times their capability...meanwhile the AW LiFePo4 has a max drain rate of oh <5000mA (granted they can only sustain that for 6min)

Lol you should be reported to PETB (People for the Ethical Treatment of batteries) :D:evil:

Drozd, you have got to be the most scientific, analytical ironworker I've ever seen. Quite frankly, I got no clue what half those numbers mean. But I DO know these new soft cap turbos are awesome and I have several boxes here so that makes me smarter since I bought early and in quantity. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! But seriously though, nice work. I'm sure I'll appreciate it more once I get it figured out.

I was only able to get the turbos in hard cap (Vapor9), so I also got some premium soft caps (V4L). I haven't had the chance to vape them much yet, so anyone want to tell me the differnces between them?

Also, and I know this might be a stupid question, IS there a difference between the turbo hard and soft cap, OTHER than the caps?

Lol the first chart wouldnt make too much sense without all the battery info....don't worry bout it..but it's to show how the amp draw is affected by voltage and what atty/carto you're using on it...and just how much we're overstressing 95% of our batteries..and just why stock batteries die so quick..

Lol...and it's inspired by a I don't want to run out of battery or fry one when I'm working a 10 hour shift kinda thing...
The analytical thing is probably why the other guys like me to figure out rigging alot too..

Ben has said that they're identical except for the caps the hard cap turbos versus the soft cap ones...

The premiums from the other company have a lower resistance and these actually have a higher..
So on an identical battery the premiums from the other company will run down the battery quicker...and overstress the battery more (thus contributing to the early demise of the battery)
In other words if you took a premium from the other company, a standard carto and this one and vaped them exactly the same (length of button press) and frequency the other premiums would need recharged first, then standards, then these turbos...and the other premiums would likely kill your battery (to an unchargeable condition) first as well...
EDIT: if you're using a 280mA stock battery....your max drain rate is well 280mA...the amp draw of a premium, standard, turbo is 1480mA, 1230mA and 1160mA respectively....all overstressing the battery horribly...the turbo only less so...

Lol you wanna see self pity?.....look what I've been working on to help explain things and help explain batteries and the relationship between Volts, Resistance, Amp draw, and max drain rate when it comes to batteries...
Only about a quarter of the way done....

Chart2.jpg

Bold #'s correlate to that 8-10W so called "sweet spot"

Now that explains everything, doesn't it? Why didn't you show it to us before?:lol::lol::lol::shock::lol::lol::lol::shock::lol::lol::lol:

Pssst -- also due to the higher resistance of the Turbos (vs. premiums), a juice fill goes further/lasts longer iirc, plus lessened chances/extent of filler bu... shall we just say 'damage.' :)

no...no...no....you all have it all wrong!!! See my post over at the "burned carto" thread....I got it all figured out!

So I just read that over there...it doesn't surprise me in the least that anyone with the death of rats as their avatar would come to that static electricity theory...

Ok, that's funny. I was going to comment on her Death of Rats pic, and then you changed to Death. It's a Pratchett free for all!

I hunted around for a good Gribeau picture, but I just couldn't find anything that spoke to me. Even the Kidby sketch didn't seem right to me. Life is such a bugger.

Lol my favorite used to be that I had a feeglespotting poster (yeah the trainspotting poster but done with the nac mac feegle instead) by kidby...now I can't find it anywhere

Yeah a huge fan...was eternally disappointed when the movie version of Good Omens got shelved..
but I'd say that my favorites are Vimes and the feegle

They're out of the posters, but you can get a shirt at paulkidby.com

Omens is a loss, but I'm more curious about what happened to Wee Free Men. Sam Raimi was supposed to direct a film adaption of it, but I haven't seen an update on that project in years. Oh well, at least they're filming on some of the Moist von Lipwig books now. Maybe we'll get lucky and receive that whole trilogy.

I shall stop hijacking this thread now. :p

As you obviously know there is a completely different set of physical laws here in Disc World. I'm actually suprised the vacuum even works at the same time as vaping...who know what could happen?!??! All summed up under the One Great Law....

"THERE IS NO JUSTICE...THERE'S ONLY ME." Death

Squeek!

Ok....here is my goal. Longer fluid (cooler burn?) better taste and less filler burn.

VaporNine Turbos?

Yes.

fyi...the photo I posted was from the old turbo hard caps. These new softcaps seem to be performing even better. So well I havn't had the heart to destroy one yet and I've been using them for weeks.
