I just ordered quite a few of these. Another member said that they have had problems with the turbos tasting badly. Now I am scared that I have thrown more $ away. Has anyone else had a bad experience with these?
i have had some with a wierd taste to them. one made atomic cinnacide unvapable.
how long ago was that dave? We haven't had any complaints about that for a while...
no reason to cancel. any cartos you order are going to have an occasional bad one.
just got the cartos a few weeks ago. got three boxes. PIFed a few cartos so people could try them. only used two cartos so far. one of them had a weird smell right out of the wrapper. made the AC i was vaping taste terrible. probably just a fluke.

I only tried two, so I should probably try some of the others. The two that I filled were unvapeable (if that's a word!). The strange taste (plastic?) overpowered the flavor of the liquid.
just tried another. same thing. is there some sort of primer on these? all i know is i can smell it as soon as i open the wrapper.
tried it with granny smith apple, cant vape it.
i had one turbo that wouldnt vape right but it might have been the juice. the rest seem to work great with the manual battery.
I know exactly what you are talking about. I got some of the V4L carts a few weeks back and had the same plastic taste. I tried like 10 of them. Walked around for a week tasting plastic. That was an expensive mistake and I just don't want to chance it.
This is strange, I haven't had the plastic taste. I do get what I would call a 'vitamin' taste on some. Someone advocated letting the cart condoms air out and this took the taste away.
I just had another member tell me that she aired hers out before use and loves them! I am going to give them a try.
The cartos in my last order that was received August 7 had a funny vitamin bottle smell to them which affected the taste as well. I've been airing them out for a week and it's not as strong but it's still there
The cartos I received 7/21 were fine out of the box.
I have had some with the vitamin smell as well but airing them out seemed to do the trick. I never had a problem with the taste of the juice because of the carto. These are in my opinion the best carto's on the market today!!

turbos are usually the best cartos, thats why i said that i thought this was a fluke. but so far 3 cartos filled = three cartos that i cant vape.
The funny smell comes from the rubber caps, in my experience. I remove them and wash them with dishwashing liquid or quickly soak them in vinegar, then rinse well and let them air dry for about 24 hours (both dishwashing liquid and vinegar work). I think that the protective sillicone caps and cellophane wrappers trap whatever smells are emitted by those rubber caps, but once opened, it all goes away. My advice to those who are sensitive to any off odors is to unwrap the cartos and take off the protective silicone caps right away and let the cartos air out (or wash/rinse the rubber caps briefly). There is absolutely no foul smell inside the cartos. Zero.
I've been airing mine out since Friday and only using driptip but they still have a lingering off smell and flavor....tried the same juice in another brand of carto and it tastes fine...definitely something is strange with this batch of cartos

We offer a money back guarantee and would certainly replace them in this situation..this problem has been resolved though..it only affected an older batch due to the rubber caps curing process.
In other news everyone-- our turbo empties are back in stock..and we've added bare metal empty turbos to our stock. Requested by many for use with auto feed systems etc.
