....PS Did learn some things tho.. It'l be easier the next time :>)
...

That was kind of my intent when I put this out there. I figured it looked easy enough (and cheap enough) that ppl would try it as their first mod and learn that modding is not as hard as that may have thought.
It's definitely not my best mod (or the mod I use every day), but it is a fairly easy build for a beginner, and will get a person comfortable with the basics of modding.
This is one of the reasons I just went with the tack switch. It made the build much easier for a beginner. But, like Dreams said (and I said in the first post), it is way under rated for this application. The switch may burn out after a couple months (I'm just guessing...I still have not seen one blow), but I am pretty sure it will hold up long enough for a person to be proud of their first mod.

On the subject of the switch... I am pretty close to making a good mechanical switch to replace the tac switch. If anyone has any ideas for this I'd love to hear them. I have lots of ways to do mechanical switching, but I am set on making a switch out of that one piece that we didn't use (the half of the batt connector with spring that we cut off). I haven't perfected it yet, but it's close. (I did have to add a nail to the parts list though) Here is a (not very good) pic...

Just copied this post over here since it is specific to this mod...

Highping thanks for the update. I just ordered the parts all except for the brass tube which I was going to get today at a local hobby shop... In order for me to proceed with this mod could I still bottom feed with a plastic tube? If so what kind of plastic and where could I get it?

You should be ok using the brass at the atty connector (the juice will not sit there). I would just cut off the brass a half inch or so into the bottle and slide a plastic tube over it to go to the bottom of the bottle. I think the problem is with the part of the pipe that is always immersed in juice.

On my next paycheck Im totally ordering the parts to make a couple of these. Gotta get batteries too so it comes up to around $30 which still aint bad. My copper pipe mods ran around 50 for the batteries and all. With the tube I think Ill try a large gauge hypodermic needle with the sharp tip snapped off. Got a tractor supply a short drive away and they have all sorts of syringes for cattle. Too bad its way too small for a couple of cr123s.

Awesome!

...but doesn't brass/copper oxidize as fast as other metals, if not worse with contact with citric acid?

I know a lot of eJuice mixers use citric acid.

I have had issues with paperclip mods, staple mods, and such due to this, green crusty oxidation.

Any issues with the brass/copper oxidizing to a green crust?

If you like this you'll luv the PUCK..
check it out. See tutorial on how to build one for yourself.
Not slammin this BTW it's great also

edit... Try missy's box with a E2 cartomizer... Goto Clouds of vaper
www.cloudsofvapor.com/

Thanks rbonie,

Looks like there's another E2 i should be waiting for. i've been wanting to
order from COV, but his inventory always seems low. So much waiting...

i'm pretty set on the idea of a bottom feeder. The PUCK has enough room
to carry an additional bottle and/or be a regulated dual volt box. lots of
possibilities...
