TVECA? e cig association

Hello guys I am new around here.

Had a question.

The first E-cigg i bought was from a brand called tsunami the box says they are a member of the "TVECA" tobacco vapor electronic Cigarette association.
Is this actually something large in the vaping community? or just marketing

Never heard of em,and what does tobacco have to do with vaping. Hmmm... Sounds weird to me. Like I said though never heard of em
