If the news was that bad the % needs to be awsome.

It was that bad to me anyway....My 19 year old daughter just informed me she is moving in with a 28 soon to be 29 year old man who has 3 kids. He is closer to my age than to hers and she is still in college! It just makes me sick to know she might be throwing it all a way for a weasel like that UGH!!!

{hugs} mary_d. Remind her that his kids should be the priority ahead of her and that the babies momma will ALWAYS have a place in his life - and give her a hug. This is a very adult decision to make - and it effects 3 innocent little lives whether they live with him or not. (sigh)
Hopefully this will not end her academic plans. {hugs}

Yeah I just got the news last week that my 15 year old niece that used to live with my wife and I is now pregnant! That was NOT a fun conversation...

I have to agree that is one of the worse conversations to have with anyone. In my case it was 14 and I was the pregnant teen :(.

Thanks for the encouragement Dark. She moved out of our house right after she graduated high school in May of this year she said she wanted to be on her own and although it hurt like heck I gave her my blessing and told her she always had a place here. I love her and always will I just don't know if I can except him into my family. He was actually married when they first started seeing each other even though they both say they were just friends at the time. He already gave his 10 year old up to his mother and I hope he doesn't do that with the two little ones he has with his 2nd ex wife. I don't have to worry to much about her trying to take the attention away from the kids because she loves them so much and pretty much babies the crap out of both of them (not a good idea i know lol). She actually puts them in front of herself even though they are not hers she treats them even better than most parents treat their kids but I am afraid it is just playing house and she will realize to late (get pregnant) that she is to young for all of it. Thanks for the hugs they are needed more than you can ever imagine :)

Also another kick in the gut is I'm only 35 I don't wanna be a grandma yet lol Heck my 20 (21 in Feb.) is already talking babies with her fiancée!

I know when I was still in the dating scene that was always my problem, I would stick around long after the relationship was over because I was attached to the kids. I hope it works out, love is strange like that. Sometimes you find it in the strangest place in the most unlikely circumstance and no matter what everyone thinks it works great. If not though I hope she has enough smarts to bail when she needs to (unlike my dumb ....!). Good thoughts and wishes headed y'alls way!
