Is he prepping the KRAKEN DISC for today, or for the weekend... ?

Honestly? While this has been amusing, it's no longer worth the time invested.
Taking the rebranding markup into consideration... If I really needed hardware, I could get it all much cheaper elsewhere, at regular prices.

fwiw- I understand ppl really liking the logo, and I've done the same thing, but waiting for a 60%+ discount just to beat other merchant prices? Meh...

I've been thinking the same thing. Time invested is the only thing keeping me watching. The sale is a good idea but I've grown bored with it.

I will openly admit that they aren't losing anything by me walking away. I would only buy when the discount was high enough that they aren't making much money off me, and with their normal pricing there is no way they would gain me as a customer anyway. I won't even add juice to my cart in fear that I may like it and have to do without more because I just won't pay that much.

Can't say I blame ya I have almost caved a few times and if by tomorrow the Kraken doesn't give me a chance I will be going elsewhere :(

I've put it off for quite a while. Now I'm wishing I had ordered it when I first wanted to and I'd either have it by now or be very close.

It's kinda weird though, after watching the TW site for the past few days now I keep trying to click over and see what the % is at, but I closed it so it's no longer there... lol.

Today was flat out dead.....I was actually having fun in the beginning but it's starting to get just a bit frustrating :(

I don't expect a lot more activity. I'm not the best salesperson in the world, but I've been a consumer all my life. I've noticed that long-term sales are like a fireworks show. A lot of action in the beginning, then one or two at a time through the most of it. When it gets close to the end, you have a pre-finale to get people looking back to the show and set off the grand finale. We're deep in the heart of the show, and probably won't see a lot of steady action until closer to the end.

That really sucks because I was wanting my 3-concentrates my usb charger and case soon but there is no way I am paying 46.49 (shipping included) for it when I can get two of those things cheaper elsewhere.

You have to realize that 38% off equals pretty close to regular price from a lot of vendors, so it's not that great of a deal. There is the potential for some great deals, and I'm sure some people have gotten them, but then you run into the problem of their server not being able to handle great deals, and going down before you can get your order in.

It's a great promo, really. I love the concept. It would even be okay at their prices, but to hold the promo when the servers can't handle the load was a bad move. It will simply lead to disgruntled customers and potential customers.

I'm not going to lose any sleep over spending my money on a ProVari instead. If I popped back in here and saw that I missed a huge deal, I can just assume that I wouldn't have been able to place the order anyway, which has already happened...

Well, he did say the Kraken would be out this weekend. And there are always fireworks going off, I'm just thinking it won't be as exciting as it has been. Keep a watchful eye.

Maybe we should dole out shifts. :laugh:
