That's true. He does set the discount and then tweet about it, in that order. I have caught one or two drops before the tweet.

I put $100 in my cart. Watching the discount and refreshing, the little yellow cart total was changing even though the percentage wasn't. It said $21.xx, but when I went to check-out, it was back to 41%.
I thought I hated this at first, but it's really fun!

Yep, load it up and hit refresh now and then.
My money is on it going at least over 50% at some point, they have gone over 50% every day of the sale thus far.
I lucked in at 44% last night around 9pm-though I have seen claims on the tw forum as high as 73%.
