Just wondering, what does twisted wire actually do for my vape experience? im usisng some now and it seems to heat up slower and makes a little more vape, not sure about the flavour just yet but yeah, whats the pros/cons of twisted?

Thanks

Hardware: sigelei fuchai 200w, Avacado rdta with a single twisted (3 strands) coil (3.5mm macro, 0.4((26awg)) a1 kanthal) 7 wraps (0.51 ohms) running @ 50.5 watts

Hello and welcome.... The twist makes more surface area on coil allowing more juice to be vaporized. Think of all the Lil nooks an crannies as pockets to hold more juice. You may also want to turn up a Lil.

^^This.

giving it a quick go, the extra few (litteraly 5 or 6) watts is vastly improving it, i just thaught due to its ohms reading 0.56 now, id put it where my usual 'sweet spot' is on other builds with similar ohms, and the mentholyptus juice is clearing it up nicely aha

At the same resistance, you've got a lot more wire (exactly how much more depends on the tightness of the twist) to heat up, and it's going to need more power to get the same amount of heat into it.

I picked up a 15 pack of these Recently just to see if they worked much Different from my usual Single Wire Coils.

$3.24 Authentic MKWS Nichrome Resistance Pre-Coiled Wire for RBA Atomizer (15-Pack) - 30*2 AWG / 0.25mm*2 dia. / 1.2ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

I ran them in a Side-by-Side comparison using the Same Subtank, Ohms, Watts, and e-Liquid with a Single Wire Coil. The Twisted Wire Coil did Perform Slightly Better in both Flavor and Vapor Production.

It Wasn't a Mammoth, Knock Your Sox's Off, Run Outside and Yell at the Sky type Difference. But it was Noticeable to me at the Wattages I tend to Vape at.
