DC Council to vote on smoking restrictions today

Don't know if the e-cig usage ban (that was introduced several months ago in the DC Council) is included in (or might be amended to) this bill that would ban smoking within 25 feet of bus shelters, trails and community centers.

I was under the impression that this wasn't going to come up again until September or October.

Assuming the vote isn't tomorrow, we'll start on this proposal soon.

As introduced, the outdoor smoking ban proposal (20-95) would not affect e-cigarettes

We need to monitor these bills, and we should be urging DC Council members to reject the e-cig usage ban.
