Just to throw in my praise for FSUSA quick, I'm really happy I found their site. Great service, great selection, and wonderful people to deal with.

I've been trying a bunch of flavors and strenghts, while I try to ween myself off of nicotine. So far, I'm down to the 12mg level, and feel I could go lower (that way I can vape more, and still get further from that damn chemical). I'm a pretty mild vapor during the day, but I really enjoy puffing away in the evening.

Oh right, so I had questions, didn't I. :)

1. I'd like to start dropping down to lower levels of nicotine, and have settled on the FSUSA hopscotch flavor.

I see the lowest nicotine you can get, aside from 0mg, is 6mg.

Is there any good method to be able to mix say 12mg and 6mg to make a 9mg level, and in turn 6mg and 0mg, to make a 3mg level? I saw they sell 500ml bottles :p, but I'd like to mix it to fit in something that I can carry in my pocket or e-cig case, like a 10ml size. Any tips on where to find the needed items, and how to carefully extract from one and add to another (a glass bottle might be good too, so I can clean it well, and get away from plastics)?

2. I really enjoy a good solid taste, like the Wyatt Earp (yumm!, but trying to get away from tobacco flavors, to help with the quitting of analogs), but I was curious if the "extra taste" request would be needed for the hopscotch, especially as I approach, and then stay at, the 3mg or less nicotine levels.

I should state that I use a Riva ego, and Joye ego, both with LR 1.5 Joye atomizers. I'm using the PTB frayed rolled mod, and it seems to provide a good flow of juice, but I was considering the screen mod, as it sounds more convenient for cleaning purposes.

Thanks so much!

There are mixing calculators here on ECF and online where you could figure out how to mix 6mg with 30mg to get 9mg. But your simple case of mixing 6 and 12 to get 9 is just 50-50. Half a bottle of 6 + half a bottle of 12 = full bottle of 9mg strength. That said, if you're mixing in a 10ml bottle and measure by eye and end up with say 6ml of 12 and 4ml of 6 you'd end up with a 10ml bottle of 9.6mg strength, plenty close enough to your desired 9mg strength. So just eyeball it and don't worry.

Thanks, bsoplinger.

Aye, I folllow your math there. Just the basic eye'balling of 50/50 is fine enough for me.

But what about a portable glass container? I know a lot of people here order 120ml bottles, and I can't imagine they always carry those with them. There must be a simple way to extract and deposit, into a smaller bottle, so that you can have something that's portable, durable like glass, yet still capable of dripping into the cart without a need to squeeze it? I'm not sure I like the idea of constantly re-using plastic bottles, due to both bacteria, and the chemicals used in making them.

Or does everyone just fill lots of carts ahead of time, and seal them? I don't really want a pocket full of those sitting next to my cell phone, or car keys, because it would be a hassle to make sure I'm not dropping them everytime I check an email/call/text, or take out my keys.

Maybe I'm overthinking the whole thing too much. I guess that's just my personality.

/I'd really like to know about the second question too, before I load up on the stuff, and find it's too weak in taste, or too strong for that matter, if I ask for extra strong flavor in the request. The butterscotch I had from FSUSA was fantastic tasting, but a higher nic level, and only had a real heavy presence using the LR atomizers. I think I also had ordered that as a VG though, and not a 50/50 pg/vg mix.

One Stop DIY Shop is a good bet for bottles (3ml to 10ml), and I would recommend using a syringe with blunt tip needle to do your mixing from bottle to bottle, which they also have. This supplier is one of my favorites - very nice people to deal with, good selection of supplies, good prices, and great service. I haven't checked lately, but FSUSA might also have these supplies at a reasonable price, so check them first.

They appear to only have plastic bottles as well, however, your avatar gave me an idea!

Veterinary bottles!

Glass, with glass droppers. They can be cleaned, are easy to use, solid, and inexpensive. A couple blunt tip needles, like you suggested, and a couple of those would be perfect. I could fit a couple 10ml ones in my backup e-cig case, in the car, without worrying as much in regards to the temperature effecting plastics, and keep one bottle in my pocket.

Thanks! I never would have thought of it, until I saw that dog's eye staring back at me.

/Now I just need to sort out whether to place my order with "extra flavor" due to the lower nicotine content, or not, and I'm ready to buy enough juice to keep me happy while quitting, and beyond!

One of the other places I purchase juice from offers theirs in 15ml bottles. Choice of normal plastic bottle with dripper tip, glass with eyedropper and plastic with eyedropper. I always get the glass bottles. Unfortunately they don't sell their bottles separately. I do like those glass bottles. Post what cost you end up at with those vet bottles and their size. Might be nice to have some of the glass bottles on hand.

So far I found a ton of suppliers located in China, but they only sell in bulk. And by "bulk" I mean in the tens of thousands for a minimum (very cheap though). It looks like going the veterinary route might not be as feasible as I thought, unless you ask a friend in the field to get you some. I didn't really want to pick up the phone and ask my friend's wife, who's a vet, mostly because the price I found was plenty reasonable, considering....

Here's what I found for purchasing from a NA distributor, in non-bulk. You can purchase the bottle, the dropper, or a cap, all independently. I would think that if you want to store for long periods, you would want a cap, and a pipette that's not stored in the vial for over a month, as the rubber could cause the same issues that you avoid plastics for.

Buy Frontier Natural Products - Glass Dropper For Use With 10 ml. Bottle at LuckyVitamin.com

Buy Frontier Natural Products - Amber Glass Round Bottle - 10 ml. at LuckyVitamin.com

I purchased 5 bottles, and 5 stoppers/pipettes. The order cost was less than the shipping fee. I went with 3 day UPS, mostly because the cheapest shipping was about $6, and considering at the end of the day I'm paying $4 shipped, for each glass bottle/pipette, that's reasonable to me. Unless I drop them, or the rubber wears out, they should last a long time. Even then, unless I drop a bottle, the only thing to replace would be the pipettes.

I also noticed that orders over $100 get free shipping.

Wink wink; nudge nudge.

I'm surprised more vendors don't have these in their stock, considering I would happily have paid $3-4 for a 10ml glass bottle/glass pipette combo, along with an order, if I had seen it on websites.

/Still curious about whether to order the hopscotch with "extra flavor" for low nicotine mixes, or not. I know a bunch of you out there vape it. Someone must have a suggestion.
