So I am now at the 2 week mark of my life as a vaper. I have not had a single analog since I received my kit in the mail. I have tried way more flavors than I care to admit to, and have finally (mostly) narrowed myself down to 4 different flavors which I have ordered in larger quantities to become my "regular" vapes. I will probably order a new flavor every now and then just for some switching up, but I feel like I am now settled into vaping. It is an odd thing to walk out of the house without a lighter and a pack of cigs. It is an odd thing not to have an ashtray sitting on my kitchen counter, and it is an odd thing to walk into my house after being out for the day and smell....nothing. it is an odd thing to not find myself needing to clear my throat every 5 minutes, and it is an odd thing to be able to take a truly deep breath without feeling a tightness in my chest. I have with relative ease dropped myself down to 11 and 8mg of nic, and hope that within 2 months I will be down to zero nic. Will I stop vaping after that? I really have no idea. It is not something I am overly concerned with, nor in a great hurry for, but I do look forward to having the nicotine monkey off my back. For now, however, I enjoy vaping. For 26 years I smelled like an ashtray. Now, I do not. This is not odd, it is fantastic.

I had one of those days just a few days ago, Jameth. I am not sure if I was actually missing cigs or not, and I certainly did not go out and have one, but some sort of feeling was definitely there. It did not last long, but while it did, it was unpleasant. Nothing like the feelings I have had when I tried to give up cigs the old fashioned way though.

It's been 2 months since I've had an analog here. It's been really easy which surprised me after 32 years. Even though I quit when pregnant I could never really stop. Well, one day had an epiphany and decided to try an e-cig; sick of the tobacco taste, cost, political influence of big tobacco and the environmental impact of all that cigarette post-packaging. Started with a smaller e-cig and even though it never felt or tasted like an analog I found I really enjoyed it. Just got my 1st "upgrade" today - a larger unit with a longer battery life. I feel great and it's amazing how much I find the stink of tobacco. My hubby still smokes the analogs even though I gave him an e-cig; he's finding it harder but at least he's blending the two and cutting down on the tobacco. I feel great and am really glad I went electric.

So happy for all of you guys. I've been vaping for 2 years now and I can honestly say it's because vaping is 100% better than smoking. Fair warning, there's some frustration when starting out with e-cigarettes. The first time your batteries die, finding a reliable vendor, getting dud atomizers or cartomizers. Eventually though, you find something that just works flawlessly for you and you're pretty well set. I couldn't imagine going back to cigarettes and I'm happy someone finally came up with a good alternative rather than just telling me I should quit. Congrats again and good luck with your future in the vaping world!
Cheers,
Michael

I've been vaping on and off since 2010 but in july 2011 I fully commited to it and I love the fact that I don't smoke cigs....I love when people ask me if it works and where did I buy it....I love vaping...
P.S
Get a spare for everything.... Atty battery....back up juice....drip tips or whatever u prefer cuz its a lonely place in the beginning if one of these fails or gets lost or u run out

I'm 5+ days in and so far has been a cakewalk, except today...

Feelings of frustration and impatience have been strong today, whether or not it has anything to do with not smoking analogs I have no idea.

Sometimes you just have one of those days I guess...

I've noticed that too occasionally. It's been 10 days for me. No problem but every once and a while I get this slight anxious feeling something is missing. Probably because cigs have more chemicals than nicotine your body might be wanting.

At any rate it goes away fairly quickly.

I will be at day 21 on Monday. I have been using Blu and I then bought a second starter kit from Apollo. I was extremely displeased with the Apollo starter kit. It wasnt so much the battery but the prefilled cartomizers that came with it. The taste of them was terrible. I got so ...... that night that I received the Apollo kit that I went out and bought a pack of Analogs. It was actually the best thing I could have done. The taste of the analogs was terrible. I couldn't believe it. After 20yrs of smoking cigarettes, I didn't seem to enjoy them anymore. So I hit this forum up and started arming myself with all this knowledge. I have still been using my blu e cigs but I have purchased a 3rd starter kit. This time I purchased the Kgo and it should be here at the beginning of the week.

I dont think I will ever look back at this point. I love vaping, and I wish I could let every smoker out there know about vaping!
