I've quit the analogs 5 times so far unsuccesfully. I can never seem to get past month 3. 3 days ago i found myself at work losing my mind, i'd forgotten to put on my nic patch. One of my coworkers handed me a disposable appollo ecig, i tried it and kinda liked it. By the end if the work day i'd found a local vendor who delivered my joyetech 510 yesterday afternoon. 2 manual batteries, 5 cartos a pcc and some juice. I love it! I'm already contemplating a bigger battery and atomiser for home use. i came to the realization that i love to smoke, so far i like vaping just as much and am thrilled at the idea of eventually moving to 0 nic juice.

I have to say that I luckily haven't had any feelings of frustration that I can pin on not having tobacco. I am using a light nicotine level in my juice but have been diluting it down with non-nicotine and hope to be nicotine free some day. I have found finding the flavors I like and mixing them to make my own blend a blast. I am not so sure that I would stop vaping if I were nicotine free or not - the flavor and feel of the vapor is mighty satisfying.:vapor:

I too started a couple of weeks ago after a 44 year addiction to analogs and smelling like an ashtray. In just that short of time I feel better, breathe easier and don't have everyone around me complaining about second hand smoke. Looks like this could finally be the answer for me.

Pretty sure I exceed your 44 year number. But been off those devil sticks for more than a year now. Feel better, breather better as well. No currently evident carry over respiratory injury for me from those cig days (at this point). Ecigs a good and satisfactory substitute for the hazardous smoke of the past. Hope you'll stick with the non-smoke route or, whenever it feels right, go to some other step down away from the likely injuring of that smoke. Keep on vaping.

Congrats!! You're on your way!

So I am now at the 2 week mark of my life as a vaper. I have not had a single analog since I received my kit in the mail. I have tried way more flavors than I care to admit to, and have finally (mostly) narrowed myself down to 4 different flavors which I have ordered in larger quantities to become my "regular" vapes. I will probably order a new flavor every now and then just for some switching up, but I feel like I am now settled into vaping. It is an odd thing to walk out of the house without a lighter and a pack of cigs. It is an odd thing not to have an ashtray sitting on my kitchen counter, and it is an odd thing to walk into my house after being out for the day and smell....nothing. it is an odd thing to not find myself needing to clear my throat every 5 minutes, and it is an odd thing to be able to take a truly deep breath without feeling a tightness in my chest. I have with relative ease dropped myself down to 11 and 8mg of nic, and hope that within 2 months I will be down to zero nic. Will I stop vaping after that? I really have no idea. It is not something I am overly concerned with, nor in a great hurry for, but I do look forward to having the nicotine monkey off my back. For now, however, I enjoy vaping. For 26 years I smelled like an ashtray. Now, I do not. This is not odd, it is fantastic.
