I have a friend who has to test his blood sugar regularly and he has noticed no effect from vaping. He does notice an effect from stress though.

I have come off of the most powerful blood pressure pill I took since I started vaping. It has even dropped a bit more after a couple of years and looking at phasing out another soon.

That is just two people who are not you. So, as with anything, it is important that you monitor yourself.

Hello and welcome Spoons!

I am not a doctor and I do not play one on TV or on the message boards. I am strictly sharing my personal experience.

I have always had an issue with high blood pressure. Ever since switching to vaping, there was a noticeable drop in my blood pressure and heart rate as well. I am very thankful to have found vaping because it provided the "spark of self improvement". Once I saw the drop in my blood pressure it encouraged me to improve other aspects of my health. I have switched to decaf, reduced sugar intake (and use only brown sugar) avoid most junk food, read the food labels closely, quit drinking alcohol and have almost entirely eliminated sodas. I may drink a soda in a social setting or maybe an iced tea. Long story short, my weight has plummeted, my blood sugar is well within the normal range when it used to be borderline, my blood pressure is well below 120/80 and my heart rate is down significantly as well. Exercise is the only aspect I have to find a way to work in now.

While some may be wondering if it is fun to be alive after making so many changes, I can safely say that I feel better today (age 41) than I did 10 years ago. It is also fun to watch myself shed years of "bad programming" and see my body respond in such a positive fashion in such as short period of time.

Hopefully my story has helped.

Always monitor yourself regularly and stay in close communication with your doctor.
