heres a chance to type a few words on behalf of vaping to the FDA, regarding regulation of ecigs. its quick and easy. time is of the essence.

Regulations.gov

heres what i wrote:

Please do not make electronic cigarettes any harder to obtain, or any more expensive than they already are. Vaporizing nicotine is so much healthier than smoking tobacco. If e-cigs become more expensive or harder to obtain, I fear, myself included, that good honest folks will be driven back to some other type of nicotine delivery system that is very harmful (cigarettes), less effective (patches, gum,), or just downright scary (prescription pills). Our society has found a solution to an immensely gripping problem- one that our world has struggled with for seemingly forever. We have watched our loved ones die from the grip of cancerous cigarettes. Please- allow e-cigs to safely remove tobacco from our loved ones' lives in an effective manner. Not until e-cigs were developed have tobacco users been so able to effectively remove tobacco from their lives. Please I beg, for the sake of our society, do not make e-cigs or their components more expensive or harder to obtain.

Here is the comments that I submitted:

"This comment is to request that the FDA not ban personal vaporizers (sometimes referred to as electronic cigarettes) nor the nicotine e-liquid that these devices use.

I tried many products to rid myself of tobacco use that failed, including nicotine patches, gum, and lozenges. I had terrible side effects from the prescription drugs used to assist smokers to quit. The only product that has been successful for me are the personal vaporizers that use nicotine e-liquid.

Using these vaporizers, I was able to go completely smoke free within a few days of using them. I have been totally smoke free since April 2012. I don't even have a desire for a cigarette any more.

However, should I not be allowed to use my vaporizer or nic-liquid, I fear that I may fall off of the wagon and return to the nasty deadly habit of smoking again.

Since I started using the nic-liquid and vaporizers, I have reduced my nicotine strength from 24mg to 12mg. However, my intent of using these devices is as a nicotine replacement therapy. My intention is to not stop nicotine all together as I admit to a depencency to it. However, these alternative nicotine delivery devices have successfully gotten me off of the decidelyly more dangerous tobacco smoke products. Please do not remove their usage to the general public."

i just submitted my comments - took all 2000 characters. i included my addiction at an early age, the death of two friends from lung cancer, listed all my previous attemps to quit, explained the improvements in my life, pointed out how the vaping world is growing and improving on it own and swore to God it was all true. Also your link was easier than the one at top of page. just filled in some information on who i am and started typing. thank you
