Type of cotton

Ok so I'm new but figure I will try an rda. Do I need to go to a heathfood place and get organic cotton or will 100% cotton balls from the grocery store work?

I have been using a bag of 100% cotton balls that I found in my bathroom over a year ago. They work great and never saw the need to get organic. They originally came from my local dollar store. If its good enough to clean a cut or scrape its good enough to vape IMHO.

I use *sterile* cotton balls from the store. Not the ones in the makeup aisles - these are the ones you find with first aid stuff. Like Hugh says, they're made for cleaning up wounds and are clean enough to interact with your bloodstream. I've also heard that the organic stuff has a funny taste for the first few pulls. The sterile ones don't seem to have that issue in my builds.

Yup the organic stuff does indeed have a funny taste. I have the organic cotton balls found in the makeup aisle in CVS and I can't stand them for that reason. I've since shifted to Maxim Cotton Balls, no weird taste or anything.
