Organic Cotton vs Regular Cotton?

Do you guy's get the fresh linen taste with organic cotton? I just received my Tobeco kayfun clone today and all I have is regular 100% cotton balls and it wicks and works fine but I can taste that fresh cotton taste over my juice. My first rebuildable atomizer that doesn't burn cotton Love the Tobeco kayfun clone!

To me the regular cotton ball realy has no taste or smell not the ones I have. I do now have organic cotton balls they must be boiled cause they smell like

The linen taste is gone now, took about half a tank to get rid of it so I take it as a "break it period" I am using cotton balls from the dollar store lol. Yay cheap wicks!

Yes, cotton balls that have not been boiled in distilled water can have that taste when first put in.

I use sterile rolled cotton, organic cotton balls and cotton yarn.
I boil the organic cotton balls and the cotton yarn for twenty minutes in distilled water, rinse them with distilled water and then boil for another twenty minutes in fresh distilled water. Then let them completely dry. For me this gets rid of the cotton taste.
