Am having some mediocre performance from UFS and trying to determine what the issue is. Have changed out O-Rings 2x.

When I screw the base of the tank onto the top of the collector cap, the crown part where the atomizer inserts does not raise above the base of the tank - is much more flush than I see when it's put together in the videos. The videos show the "crown" or crenolation a few milimeters above the base.

Anyone have suggestions? Really trying to get the best peformance here and think that this has to be the explanation for too much juice going to the atty.

Thanks for any suggestions

Nevermind. Think it's working again. Maybe it was the wrong oring that I put in.

Still have the question, though, if anyone can answer. When you put the base of the UFS onto the collector cap with the connector inside, how far does your connector (or the crown looking connection thing) stick out of the top?

Mine looks different than the video and would like to make sure I've got things the way that they should be.

Thanks!

The bottom of the tank should sit flush with the low parts of the crenulation Huffel.

Heres a pic of mine. Sorry if it sucks, it's from my cell, but you can see what I'm talking about regardless.

Mine is definately not seated that way. Glad that I asked and I do think that this is the problem. Even without the oring, the base of my UFS does not screw down onto the collector cap that far.

Any ideas of what I could be doing wrong? Will try to post pics later but need to finish vaping whats in here first.

Sounds like you're using a GGTS control tank! Funny enough, the UFS WILL thread onto the GGTS collector tank, it just won't function properly.

I believe that what I have is a UFS with a TS collector cup. Have tried all three of my collector cups and none of them are screwing down far enough to allow the connector to protrude fully through the base of the UFS.

Follow up question... just to ensure that I'm ordering the right replacement part to try, is the UFSv1 connector the same as the UFSv2? Want to make sure that I'm replacing the right part before buying. I can't imagine what else the problem could be.

I had the UFSv1 and v2, and correct me if I'm wrong guys, but the two collector/control tanks on the revisions of the UFS are the same. I too made the mistake once of using the TS collector/control tank on the UFS and it certainly doesn't work at all. Imeo's video above here is perfect to explain the differences and why it doesn't work.

Look's like you're in luck, they have them stocked at COV :D

UFS Control Tank

Hope you get it working
