I think it's safe to say I'm over the super-noob period, but I'm obviously no pro at this. I lost two atomizers in my first week, and I think I'm about to kill two more. How the heck do I manage to kill them in pairs?
One is producing minimal vapor, the other one is creating a razorblade/burnt taste.
So far I've tried soaking them in Pepsi Max then vodka, I've run them both under hot tap water, blown them out, left them to dry for an hour or so, picked off the burnt poly/wick that was sticking out, dripped 2-3 drops of e-liquid on to the coil... and nadda. They're still giving me issues.
I have spares, so writing them off isn't going to be as painful as last time (the week long wait is horrible when you have no spares- lesson learned).
The *newer* atomizers seem to be a slightly different design. The two that died first, and the two fritzing now have an eliptical central well (??). The parts I ordered seperate from the starter kits have something that looks like a washer around the rim, it just makes them look tidier.
Has anyone noticed a difference in design, and if so has the performance been any better or worse?
Four atomizers in three weeks is a pretty bad run. Any help will be muchly appreciated.
