Hey Beandip :)

Sorry about the jargon. We love it here!

It's hard to explain in everyday terms and makes for very boring reading, so maybe the best thing for you to do is look up what the abbreviations mean and work it out from there. Maybe if you ask specific questions then people will chime in and help you out.

I can't really post links as it's not my place to do that, others will help you out there if you ask. There was one item that is only available from one source, and I gave it.

People will help you out if you ask a specific question. Basically it comes down to: you need stronger hardware and stronger refills. Don't give up, you've only scratched the surface. What you've seen so far is like the tip of an iceberg, there's a lot more to know.

"That warm, lungfilling feeling."

Honestly, just play around with flavors and pg/vg mixtures. PG=feeling VG=filling - usually. Take your time and find what works for you. Don't allow yourself to get too rushed, or you may become frustrated with the whole thing. Remember, too, that vaping is not smoking, but is similar. Just replace one or two (or whatever) cigarettes with it this week. You may just find that you prefer that nice, mellow, sweet juice you already have when you're not expecting it to be a cigarette.

The Volcano Magma gives a good throat hit, i got the MEGA battery with the manual button on it.

The brand of battery has no effect on throat hits. You can get throat hits with any battery that has enough power and doesn't need to be recharged real often (as Volcano batteries need to be). I would avoid Volcano products at all costs, due to the cheap quality of their products.

I am a newbie from Ireland, smoked 20+ small cigars a day and have failed miserably in several attempts to give up. Gave this a try with no real belief I would quit the cigars, however with good e-juice and hardware this has been easy and have not smoked an annalog in 5 weeks. For me, I ordered up a load of tabbacco flavoured juice thinking that would be what I wanted, as well as some others to try. Soon realised other flavours much better vape and tabbacco not the best flavour in the world, strongest and most fulfilling vape I have tried is Atomic Cinnacide from Geoff at Tasty Vapes, you can varying nicotine but as a fairly heavy (ex)smoker I went for 24mg and PG with 25% VG.

I somtimes vape a lot during the day, fairly constant and sometimes feel I need a real binge to get nicotine levels up, but if I can do it, anyone can, keep at it and experiment with flavours and hardware and perhaps those annalogs will be a thing of the past. Good Luck

Thank you. I keep reading about Atomic Cinnacide. Is that just a regular cinnamon taste?

Ok, so, I've had the Blucig (yuck) and have been with the Joye 510 for the past few months. I use cartomizers that I fill myself, usually with 24mg nic juice. I usually buy mostly VG because I've read it produces more vape, which I need. I've tried many, many flavors, included many tobacco flavors because I still want that cigarette taste, but alas, none of them taste like my Marlboro, which I'm still smoking too many of, btw. My question is: What do I need to do to get that warm, lungfilling feeling from my ecig that comes from an analog? Do I need to increase the nic level or change the pg/vg ratio in my juices? Or am I just out of luck?? I'm not feeling "satisfied", therefore I tend to vape constantly!! Help, please!!!

I guess I never actually replied to your question, and that might be because several others did reply, but I'm here again and thought I'd tell you what works for me to get good throat hits.

I use eGo batteries that last for several hours. My 900mAh eGos last for 9 hours when vaping constantly. My 1000mAh eGos last for 12 hours when vaping constantly. I never bought any of the 650mAh eGos that come in kits, but it seems people get anywhere from 4 hours to over 20 hours (average is about 6 to 7 hours), but I'm sure that depends on how many drags one takes and how long they drag on it. I usually charge one battery every day and sometimes two batteries, when I rotate two batteries throughout the day.

I use cartomizers, because I'm either too busy or too lazy to drip very often. Dripping requires 3 drops every couple-three minutes, when vaping constantly.

My nicotine level is 18mg. Tried 30mg, 24mg, 18mg, and 12mg. 18mg is perfect for me. The rest was too much (too harsh) or too low (not satisfying).

My PG level is about 80% and VG level is 20%, but I'll add about 10 to 15% of Glycerin that I bought at Walmart.

I've tried juices from various suppliers, most of them I didn't like, except the juices from FSUSA. I believe one of the major factors in getting throat hits is determined by how the suppliers mix their liquids. I bought six bottles from one of the suppliers (who sells his juices for very cheap) and could not get any throat hits. That was about a month ago, and I tried those juices yesterday -- and still no throat hits.

I get good throat hits from the liquids I get from FSUSA and some other suppliers, but I still vape constantly, because I can't get enough of it. I don't think I vape constantly because I'm not getting enough nicotine; it just tastes and smells better than smoking (and it's still new, so I might be able to slow down in the future).

I think you're using too much VG (try increasing the PG ratio to at least 50% or more), and the Joye 510 could be a factor, since that battery probably loses its power often and doesn't always give the cartomizer enough power to create the warm vapor that you would get from an eGo battery.

I can't help you with any ideas for the tobacco taste, because when I started vaping, I discovered that I didn't care for the tobacco flavors that much and found that I really liked the dark smoky taste of RY4 (RY4=a little caramel, vanilla and tobacco), and I add Caramel, Nut Mix, and Apple, plus a little Glycerin from Walmart... all of my current juices are from FSUSA, though...I didn't care for juices from the other suppliers I tried.

Im not sure why everyone keeps saying that the PG has more of a throat hit than VG. From my own personal experience I have not noticed a difference between the two. I have even vaped straight pg vs vg and to me neither one of them produce any TH at all. In my opinion the TH comes from the nic mg concentration. The higher the dosage ie 36 the harder the TH. The hardware has a lot to do with it as well. Tryin to get a TH off of a Blu is like blowing a bubble with a now & later, it aint gonna happen. I gotta go with Hoosier on this one. Keep trying the same things and you are gonna get the same results. The joye eGo is a GREAT PV especially with the MEGA attys. Send me an email and Ill send ya one!

If you're not getting throat hits, then you're buying juice from the wrong supplier. The reason we say that PG = throat hit and VG = vapor is because it's true. Yes, the nicotine strength is a factor, and so is the power supplied by the battery.
