Worried here.. not sure whats goin on.. maybe a reaction to something else..

anyway here is the thing.
I bought jersey vape liquid oh gosh prolly a close to two months ago.. thinking its 60pg 40vg
suddenly the last few days something is wrong with my lips..

Maybe a reaction to something else.. but overnight it seems to heal up some well its not sores, its more like a feeling of a little bit swollen or tingly. You would think this is a good thing huh lmbo. Anyway after just a few draws drip tip it starts tingling and feeling lil swollen again. If you can imagine drawing on a drip tip its the inside of the top and bottom lips.

Could this be sudden reaction, I dont really want to think that especially since I have been vaping on them for last month or two .. anyone else have this tender lip syndrom lol

Could be. IDK. Nicotine is a neurotoxin (numbing) and gives a "peppery" feeling as well. Maybe your atty is not performing as well as it should. Could also be a reaction.

Suggest you clean the atty, clean the cart too. If it's a carto.. change it. Next resort... change juice.

I DIY my juice... I've had VG that did that to me. When I switched VG.. it went away. Threw the other stuff out. IDK if thats it for you or not.

Also, is it a metal drip tip? If so, switch it out and use a standard plastic cart for a day or two (just remove the filler).

These things will help you isolate the problem to the juice or not. Of course, if you think you are having a serious reaction to vaping... stop.

I get that sometimes but i know for me at least it is the menthol in the juice that i make. Might want to try a different juice see what happens.

It almost sounds as if you're getting juice on your lips and in your mouth. What you've described happens to me sometimes when juice is coming back up the atty.

The Quit Ulcers are a common symptom of tobacco withdrawal, affecting many quitters. The ulcers can be very painful, but there are effective topical treatment gels. It has been suggested that high-dose vitamin therapy may also be effective.

It may be possible that nicotine being absorbed through the mouth can also exacerbate this, as folks using nicotine gum have experienced these mouth sores although it would need to be shown that those using nic skin patches did not suffer so commonly.

It may be that after ecig use, at first, drinking something to rinse the mouth out may help. This will get the nic (or perhaps flavorings or other materials) out of your mouth and not give it a chance to sit there and irritate your mouth tissues and make any sore worse, if this is in fact an issue.

Note that PG is a bactericide and used medically for that purpose, so that it is more likely to improve this type of symptom than worsen it. It is unlikely that ecig vapor from an e-liquid with PG in will affect the Quit Ulcers in any way except beneficially.

However: Cinnamon is known to cause this problem in some people.

My mom had tongue issues when she started vaping. They did go away after a couple weeks.

Tingling on the lips and tongue does sound like classic early warning signs of an allergic reaction... I'm not saying it is, but it's possible you have a mild intolerance to PG.

Can you be allergic to VG? I've never heard if anyone suggesting this, i guess it's possible though.

Probably as infrequently as you can have an allergy to PG.

Throw me in with the juice on the lips crowd! This happened to me ALOT until I finally got my current EGO/Boge cartos and plastic drip tip combo. Also quickly learned to wash my hands after messing with the juice etc. Nic juice and touching your face/eye area can result in various degress of irritation.

My guess is it has more to do with the the ingredients used to "flavor" the liquid. I think that is a bigger wild card in liquid than nicotine, PG or VG.

So maybe now that it's cured something has changed in the juice. I'm assuming of course that you have not been vaping only this juice for the past two months. If you have, then you probably would have built up a tolerance to whatever is irritating the inside of your lips.

Well actually its all zero nic.. well I am pretty new lol.
I had the one 30ml bottle of watermelon from TW and then the six lil flav bottles from Jersey and the Rocky road was gross so just been vaping the other five.. Jersey Pink Drink, Menthol, Sex on the beach, Peach mango and mountain du..lately its been the pink drink and menthol mostly... When lips started getting irritated I tried the watermelon again since its so very mild. Anyway yep it has pretty much been this jersey juice that I have been vaping lol ..

Im like you i figured after two months it wouldnt start suddenly. But then like you mentioned too.. its had time to seep or whatever that does.. so maybe something changed.. I hadnt thought of that at all.

Shuddar to think.. a few months ago I had a sudden horrible reaction.. broke out all over my face and chest.. iched and thought I would die... lips swole up and it was getting hard to breath .. well turns out I had an alergic reaction to shellfish.. Please dont tell me there is shellfish in the juice.. LOL .. jk but dang I miss my shrimp and crawfish.... ugh

anyway, I got new atty out and tried my had at using the cart. I have no clue what Im doing.. when you say remove the filler do you mean the filler in the filter ? If so im guessing you put the juice directly into the atomizer? wow that doesnt sound right I must have something totally mixed up. I was going to ask someone about the blank filter like caps that came on the atomizer. The ones that I remove when putting on a drip tip. can u use those?

anyway, i changed the atty, using cart instead of metal drip tip.. Same juice though, its all I have till my order comes in from vapor bomb.. Must be the holiday, since I got an email that they mailed the order last monday. My daughter in law is waiting by the road every day waiting for the mail man and cursing out VB lol. Anyway, lips didnt seem to be getting as aggravated but then in my infinate wisdom I had Jalapenos with diner lol

There is a drink called sex on the beach...

• 2/3 oz. Schnapps, peach
• 1 1/3 oz. Vodka
• 1 1/3 oz. Cranberry Juice
• 1 1/3 oz. Orange Juice

It never was my drink of choice but seemed like an interesting vape lol.
Its kinda light and fruity.. I think its similar to the Pink drink that is listed as one of their signature drinks... but it a nice lite vape, little mild but good taste

Just a guess here.. since I changed all the equipment. The new atty, and cart. I originally put in the watermelon.. and seemed the tingling was settling down, not getting so aggravated. I recently added some sex on the beach to it to give it a boost.. and well I think the tingling is a little more pronounced ... this is so weird.
I will stay away from the beach tomorrow and see how it fairs.. I had never thought about the fact that it could be just an ingredient in a juice..

No, they aren't common. I read less than 10% of people have allergic reactions to PG.

That's not to say people might have an issue with PG or VG. Some people find PG irritating and harsh on the throat and some people find that VG gives them a 'heavy' feeling in their chest.
