PailPoe seems to have stepped out for a bit so perhaps I can answer your question.
The wick is a small rectangle of stainless steel that is rolled up into a coil the juice wicks up it through a capillary action.
It doesn't have a bridge or coil. in this case the mesh roll is also the atty coil and gets hot enough to vaporize the juice.
bottom feeders, top feeders, and dripping may just go the way of the wind.
