Super Easy CE2 Fix / mod:

1. Remove all seals from top portion
2. Fill with juice, even thick juice like Boba's will work great! (put 1 drop on the coil)
3. Insert the rubber mouth piece, grooves side down and push down into tube with a Q-tip, run along edges ensuring a good seal over ceramic cup. The mouthpiece makes a perfect seal and doesn't restrict the flow of juice like the regular seal does (even a modded regular seal restricts juice flow)
4. Push on a drip tip (with the rubber gasket removed from the drip tip)and insert all the way. It should fit flush against the rubber mouthpiece/seal you just inserted. This also prevents the seal from moving.
5. Vape away!
6. To refill, just remove the rubber seal with a paperclip, bend the tip of the clip over 90 degrees, about 1/8 inch of it. Hook it under and pull slowly up. With 100% vg juice you may want to still use a syringe to fill, but otherwise you can fill straight from the bottle.

I've tried everything with these CE2's and this works the best for me. Works very well as a matter of fact. No leaks, minimal to no gurgling, and hardly any condensation. If you need any more details let me know. Also, if you're using a Ego battery, I highly recommend getting the lowest resistance CE2 (2.2-2.4 ohm). Another tip: if your CE2 is leaking out the bottom much at all, you probably have one with a mis-fitted bottom seal. If you open up the CE2 and look into the bottom (metal connector) on the inside, there is a black rubber seal around the air tube extending into the connector that is sometimes installed wrong, thus not forming a good seal at the base. If anyone needs help repairing that problem, let me know. Another tip! Don't screw these down tight as it can make the seal leak. Just tighten down enough to secure it. There will be a tiny gap, just deal with it. :glare:

Hope this helps, Cheers,
Doug

I have a set of 5 CE2's (one was DOA) I purchased for my Pig Cig (808D-1). Found a couple videos on YouTube of how to "clean" them by pulling the tube off the base. All these videos show the individual attaching the CE2 to their battery (screwing it on) then gently wiggling it at the base of the CE2. Well, all of mine were so tight they didn't want to budge. At first I was afraid the tube would shatter or crack and cut my fingers. Then I saw another vid were the guy squeezed the tube to show that it is actually plastic (duh). So, I thought, heck I'll just really pull on it. I did. The batter pulled apart at the threads ripping the soldered wires off of the battery and the thread. I now have only one PV. : (

Cool and hip vid....makes it look easy peasy.... Cleaning clearomizer and Vaping in 5 min - YouTube

NOT!

Here is something Similar that I have been doing for a long time.

I got sick of Pulling out and Putting Seals back in when Filling. So what I do is what I call the One Piece Mouth Piece/Seal, OPMPS.

I cut the Tube down so that it is about .125" longer than the Ceramic Cup. Then I cut a Cone on the Inside of a "White" Rev"3.x" CE2 Mouth Piece. The "Coned Out" Mouth Piece becomes the Seal at the Cup.

Here's what it looks like...

Works as well as Anything else I have Seen and is a Whole Lot Easier to Remove and Replace.

This the way to make them work totally outrageous absolutly no leaks at all unless its the little seal at the bottom Dougers was talking about and you can seal that to, this will make them work the best you are going to get, have used this method for over two months and it is the only one I will use from now on

I've been using CE2s practically since I began vaping. I love them, and use nothing else. My favorite mod is the conversion kits gotvapes sold. They basically converted a Fluxo into a Vision Extreme. In order to fill, all that needs to be removed is the drip tip. The sides of the cup seal have notches, so they can be filled either with a syringe, or dripping. The problem is, there was some miscommunication with the manufacturer, and the mouthpieces supplied with the kits didn't fit properly. But they still worked well with a standard drip tip. I'm hoping gotvapes restocks them eventually.

I just put the "middle" ring in flat side toward mouthpiece<- important will leak other way , wicks great with anything I've used, doesn't leak and never floods, simple as can be.

I have a bunch of the older style stainless steel CE2s, which I still use for sampling DIY stuff. The older style middle rings were tapered in the center, around the hole. I've used the newer middle rings, flat side up, and then one of the older, tapered rings, taper side up, and then the drip tip. The extra ring takes up the remainder of the space between the rings and the end of the drip tip. The rings remove very easily for filling.

Thanks for the idea!
I just did similar thing with my Vision carto (removed silicone plug from mouthpiece and replaced silicone part from cartos inside with it) -wicks fantastically, but carto needs to be kept vertically while not vaping, otherwise it leaks eventually. But if you use it at home and dont have to worry about positioning you get very good vape.

I did the tweak and have had this clearo sitting on my desk sideways all night; the plug is totally dry on top.
Hey! Glad it's working well for you! For everyone: my instructions may make it sound more complicated than it really is;
all you're doing is replacing the 2 inner seals with the rubber mouthpiece, which you seat over the top of the white cup inside, then insert a drip tip. I generally have to mop up a little condensation under the drip tip about 1 or 2 times per refill still, but otherwise it works perfect. Enjoy!

Yes, this is the typical "fix" for CE2's, but I still had a lot of trouble with flooding. I think that may be because the little "O" ring moves easily, then starts leaking. That's why I prefer using the mouth-piece; its very secure and forms a tight seal. Although it is a bit harder to remove.
