Ultrafire Rapid Charger

I just received the Ultrafire Rapid Charger with my Helix a few days ago. Just wondering if anyone knows if its safe to charge batteries using the 650mA option. Is there only certain batteries for this option? Is it safer to use the 300mA option. Kinda curious/confused.

yes the 650ma setting is perfectly safe. im assuming you are talking about the 26650 or 18650's.

Correct it starts at 650mA , then eases off to 600mA as it gets to 3.8v and continues to ease off current 350/360 @ 4.11v , and pretty much holds 300mA charge to termination .
