I bought one for $3.00 also. Then i saw one for $1.50 and bought that one too. They both work great.

From reading this, I get that cartomizers don't come out any better than any other cleaning method?
I've just soaked attys in alcohol for 30 minutes, blown out and repeat, rinse well, then a soak in PG and blow out, and they seem to come out fine. Why is an ultrasonic any better?

i was using one, but it wasnt working properly (i was probably doing it wrong though), ive since started boiling them and that seems to be working much better
I use mild soapy water in mine. Got it on amazon to clean attys but since Penelope I don't buy attys anymore. Thank god. I use is to clean my GGTS parts once a week.
Just used mine to clean my Penelope atty with a gunked up 5 day used coil in it, and it's vaping nearly as good as new again. So the ultrasonic is useful if you are feeling lazy with your Penelope too
No, just plain water. Put it through 4 x 8min cycles, shook / blew out the water and heated the coil up to vaporize the water in the wick and put it all back.
So you guys think the ultrasonic cleaner does ok on cartos? How about for punched cartos?
Idea: What about using PG in an ultrasonic to clean cartos? Yknow, I think I'll go over to the thrift shop and buy one. Will let you guys know it if is worth it or not.
