I don't want to appear paranoid or anything, but let's say there's a ban on our beloved PV's tomorrow (Thr). Then what do we do on Friday if we need a new atty, etc, assuming we don't know how to DIY? How will all these suppliers supply the community and how will we communicate?

buy new stuff = order from China directly (that's where it all comes from anyway). Small packages will almost certainly go unopened and unnoticed. Depending on how they are labeled some larger orders may get intercepted but I'd say at least 90% will get through here to the states.

J/K But until a serious "local" blackmarket can be developed I would have hoped your stocking up like I am with any DISPOSABLE income you have... sadly in my case is not much at all. Most of all stock up on juice IMOP and a few atties, juice will be harder to get than atties as the chinese are very tricky about their customs labeling. I know at some point I'll eventually end up rolling the dice for a few atties by ordering from overseas but if anyone else decides to do so then do it at your OWN RISK... fed's are very dangerous when trifled with. And importing an atomizer would be a federal violation if your caught. (which I am doubting would happen but can happen.) don't worry too much about batteries if they die learn how to mod one up, batteries are relatively simple.

This is very scary to me since I am in no position to stock up, and am not technical enough for modding. So I guess it would mean back to $7 a pack to get myself lung cancer.

If 7 dollars a pack is equal to 7 dollars a day then you have the means to stock up right now LOL. 7 bucks a day would net you a lot of atomizers and juice every week.

This doesn't answer the question but....first I got a Janty Stick, then a charger from batteryjunction that recharges two AAA batteries at once ($14.95), 10 of their batteries at $3.29 each, and I'll get a few 801 atomizers at $7 each from Rocky Mountain Vapor. That, and my own 0% Nic juice, will set me up for some time down the road.

Now Kathy....if a pack of cigarettes costs you $7, you can buy atomizers instead at that price. So if you get a PV that uses 'regular' batteries that you can recharge and buy just about anywhere, you'll be all set.

I'd really rather buy rechargers and batteries from our PV suppliers, if they'd make their products and prices comparable to others that offer the same things. Anyhoo...just my thoughts. The original question is for those who aren't quite all stocked up to survive for long.

If your on a tight budget China is'nt an option as you need $20+ for Shipping and some of the Traders have a $50 minimum order. Then you have to hope that it does'nt get stopped at Customs.
